Fido Field Trips pet care was founded by experienced dog trainer, Kendra Chappell, to provide quality pet care that truly contributes to the enrichment of the lives of the pets in Kelowna.
Kendra grew up around dogs, and bred champion Boxer dogs with her family for many years. She enjoys nothing more than to be surrounded by a few K9 friends while hiking up a mountain trail. She firmly believes in the need to be the pack leader to her own dog, Leo, and to all the dogs she cares for. Dogs are social animals that thrive in a pack setting where the dominance hierarchy is clear. This promotes harmony within the pack. A pack leader does not exhibit dominance through aggression or bullying but through calm, assertive, consistent leadership.
Dedicated to setting an example of outstanding professionalism and compassion in this ever-expanding industry of pets, Kendra understands your love for your pet. She is inspired everyday by the love of Leo and aspires to share her passion for this profession with each new member of Fido's family. Fido Field Trips not only offers pet sitting, but we also offer the dogs of Kelowna an experience that promotes their well being, and gives their people peace of mind knowing that their pets are blissfully content and safe while in Fido's care.
