| Chapter 3 - Long Good Byes Make Mothers Cry | |||
| With the orders of Mama Timberlake, Beer Buzz was all accounted for and ready to go by noon which wouldn't have been so bad if everyone else was on time. But unfortunately Orlando Bloom with Jason Mraz didn't show up with Jasmine Cruz till around One Thirty and it was a good hour after them that Kelly Warren and Diane Jones finally crawled through the door. It was basically just the ten of them, waiting all on six people which were considered death targets since Mama Timberlake got antsy and began passing out sandwiches and asking questions no one really wanted to answer. "So do you kids have all your reservations made out for hotels?" She asks as she gives Orlando his third PB&J sandwich. He hadn't been hungry really, in fact he never even requested one yet she kept making them and giving them to him, giving him a sweet smile with each along with an encouraging 'eat up'. "Uhh..." Gosling says nervously as he gives a weak smile, looking quickly at the floor as his feet from under the kitchen table reach toward Justin, kicking him hard. "OW!" Justin yelps as he feels his leg begin to throb in pain from the kick and he quickly sits up. Glaring, he looks over at Ryan. "What is wrong with you man?" "It's called a hint dumbass," Jake says groggily as he rubs his head, trying to keep his temper down from the yelling. He was suffering more then anyone it seemed with his hang over as he sits in the house with dark shades on, making no noise unless pissed off. "A hint about what?" Justin asks still confused as he reaches down, rubbing his leg. Having been paying attention, Jason smirks some as he shakes his head. He knew the tour was going to be fun but already just by the groups behavior; he was excited. He had no idea that they would be so down to earth. He had feared divas all to much, figuring their slight fame may have already gone to there heads but to his relief all of them were sane. "Mrs. Timberlake these are delicious," Jason says, changing the subject for Gosling as he holds up a sugar cookie she had given him a few minutes prior. Smiling proudly, Mama Timberlake gives a casual thank you before going back into the kitchen, most likely to bring out more food for no one to really eat. "She is the type who isn't happy unless serving..." Justin says softly as he looks around at the group, trying to make an excuse for his mothers behavior. Saying he is embarrassed would be an understatement as he looks around the table, trying to figure out what everyone is thinking. "I need one of those," Shane says, breaking the slight silence with a belch. He had been the only one really chowing down though no one seemed to mind it. In fact, the girls for the last twenty minutes have been pawning their food off on him. "What you need are Manners," Jasmine says as she scrunches her nose up some at him, backing away. "And yuck." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phillippe was the first to pull in only to have Serena, Adam, and Raquel quickly pile out, as if the car stunk of skunk. They couldn't stand being in a car with Ryan for too long, mostly because of his driving style. He was one who was heavy on the gas and break, making the car jerk some which was easily upsetting their stomachs. "Next time, let Adam drive," Raquel bellows as she rubs her tummy slowly, walking up the drive and away from the black hummer while looking over her shoulder to see Adam doing the same thing. "Where did you learn to drive anyways?" Serena pipes in as she closes the doors, walking over to Raquel with a queasy look. Rolling his eyes some, Ryan gets out and locks up only to see Paul pulling in with Shaunna behind him. "Everyone's a critic today huh?" he says with a grunt as he looks over to Serena with an un amused look. "Besides, people without their licenses shouldn't whine." Serena and Raquel blush slightly, giving an innocent look as they await Shaunna and Paul, figuring if they go in as a group no one can be blamed. "Man, shut up," Adam says before tugging the baseball hat that sits upon his head down some, wanting to hide his tired red eyes. He had been the last to crawl into bed and the first up, rearing to go. It was just his style, to be the ready one and on time one even if it killed him. The group had been so busy bickering they hadn't even noticed Paul and Shaunna walk up next to them, filling in the gaps of the circle. A circle, sadly the group could normally be found in one. It was there way of everyone being able to talk and be seen while talking. It also made keeping uninvited people out of the conversation easier. "Why are we all standing around?" Shaunna asks, interrupting Raquel and Serena as they fight with Ryan about the licenses comment more, feeling the need to defend themselves for some reason or another. "Uh...Adam why are we in a circle?" Raquel asks, not having an answer really as she looks over at Shaunna. It wasn't surprising to anyone that she had asked someone else. The fact is, they would pass a question around all the time till one came up with any lame workable answer. "I don't know, Serena?" Adam asks, passing it along as he turns his head to Paul, nodding a slight hello. "Me? Phhf. Ask Ryan," Serena says as she moves closer to Raquel only to lazily rest her head down upon her friends shoulder, closing her eyes as she does. Serena was always sleepy even if she got sleep though no one really seemed to mind. "Because we rock?" Ryan says before looking at Paul. "I don't know, ask him." Looking innocent, Paul shrugs before stepping back, not about to be the one it was pinned upon. "Dude no. Ask umm... Shaunna?" "I asked the question," Shaunna laughs softly as she turns to her side, looking over at Paul only to stick her tongue out playfully at him while the rest of the group laughs some at there cycle. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having heard the commotion from outside, John, who was avoiding the bigger group, heads to the window only to peer out. He couldn't help but watch them laugh and play together, finding a smile slowly spread across his lips as he remembers his friends back home in New York. Leaving them had been hard to do though at the time it had been the right thing to do. He didn't regret his choice but he did miss them. Subconsciously, he finds himself watching one person in the group more closely though. With her brown hair down and slightly curly along with a big grin on her face, John found her more enchanting now then he had the night before on stage. She was tiny but her voice showed her power more so. She wasn't someone to be taken for granted and pushed around and he liked it, even if it was slightly intimidating. |
