Chapter Two - Hit The Road
With the sunrise came everyone's bed time but not for long with the promise of the road ahead of them. Though Gosling and Ryan had both wanted out of their before noon, in all reality, no one began waking up till then. And even if they rose, it was only welcomed with headaches and hangovers for most. A night of drinking will have its toll, especially on those who had little to no food before hand.

Alone in her room which she shares with Shaunna and Serena, Raquel lays in bed the longest though not asleep, just thinking. The idea of the tour had been a bit scary but for reasons she would never tell another soul. She knew they had to do it and being with her friends would make it easier but still the nagging feeling keeps pulling at her, making her want to stay in bed forever.

"Raquel?" A voice says softly as she hears the door creek open slightly. She knew who it was, it was Ryan with most likely aspirin and a drink, or his normal morning wake up threat however she doesn't care as she closes her eyes and eases farther into the corner of her bunk bed she shares with Shaunna.

"Go away," she mumbles through the covers which cover her lips slightly as she tries to think of a happier place in time, trying to drag sleep back into her body so she could put off the trip more.

"Boo..." he sighs softly as he walks in the room fully, shutting the door softly behind him. "Come on.. get up. It's nearly one PM." Though he was being sweet, Raquel could tell the irritation behind the voice. It was the same voice he gives when he wanted her to clean her hair from the shower drain.

"No wanna," she says in the same tone as before, closing her eyes tighter shut as she listens to the creaking of the floor then her bed as he climbs up only to lay beside her in the top bunk.

"Sleepy head," he says with a small smile as he wraps his arms around her, forcefully pulling her body against his, holding her close. Innocently, he places a small kiss on her forehead, his hands rubbing her back some. "Are you packed?"

Raquel grumbles some, curling against him as she peaks one eye open, tilting her head to the side to look at him only to nod a couple times. "Yeah, did it a couple days ago. I have everything but my pillow ready to go and today's clothes."

He smiles, patting her back a bit before leaning his face in close to hers. "In that case," he starts before kissing the tip of her nose. "Get up."

Shaunna slowly helps Adam lift amps into the back of Paul's truck before standing up straight, stretching out her now sore back while looking up at the hazy sky. It was going rain which would be fine only the idea of a lot of wet people in several cars wasn't too appealing. Especially when most were in a foul mood.  As it was, Serena almost had killed her when she finished the milk with her morning bowl of cereal.

"Earth to Shaunna," Adam says for what seems like the fifth time as he stands on the ground with a couple drum cases, looking up at her annoyed. "Come on lets just finish this up."

Blushing, Shaunna nods her head as she gives him a sheepish smile in apology. Carefully, she bends back over, taking the case from him and pushes it back into the truck bed more. They had been doing this for what seemed like forever but in reality had only been a good hour. Packing, what a pain.

"Addy," Shaunna pouts as she stands again, her energy now drained from whatever sleep she had gotten through drunk snores which had filled the apartment all morning. "Can't someone else do this?"

Looking up, Adam gives her a quizzical look as he puts another drum case down near her feet. "Oh yeah sure... just one question. Who? Paul is in the shower. Raquel isn't up. Serena won't. Ryan already packed all our suitcases pretty much. So who is there Shaunna?"

Shaunna looks around for a second before smirking, winking at him as she says. "The Invisible Man."

Coming out of the shower refreshed and rearing to go, Paul walks around in a towel, not caring who saw. Before the move he had been a bit more shy with his body but since living with the group he had no choice but to be seen naked a lot. Being in a three bedroom apartment with five other people kind of promises that problem. Especially when there are only two bathrooms and it seems someone is always in one.

"If you need to tinkle do it now brats!" He yells out into the living room as he walks into it only to find Serena standing over her suitcase in rage, tearing through it like it was a Christmas present in search of something. "You alright?"

Snapping her head up, Serena growls some before sticking her head back down and into her bag, searching long. "My Sailor Moon Doll is missing," She whines in a mumble, not really caring if he knew what she was looking for or not considering he wouldn't be a help, he never was before.

"Did you check under your bed?" He says with a smirk, knowing very well it wasn't their but it would be nice to see her look.

"No because it was on my bed and now it isn't!" She says annoyed, her voice full of back off warning which of course he ignores as he walks over to her, having a seat on the couch which is behind her.

"Well couldn't it have fallen off your bed and been swooped under it?" he persists as he looks over her ass before looking away to the TV, finding the weather channel on.

"Look Mr. Nudist. Go fuck yourself and leave me alone," She says in a yell as she stands up and turns, her hands going on her hips as she gives him the look that a scorning mother would.

Though it took more time then anyone would have liked, the group finally tied everything down, arranged luggage and people then headed off to the one place most were dreading, Justin's house. They had promised to be their before two but now it being Two-Thirty it was obvious that commitment was broken.

In honesty, none of them were worried about being yelled it. No, they were more worried about the good byes. It was common knowledge Justin was a mama's boy and they were more concerned with the lectures about safety a mother would give.
