Explanation:
: Diversity in supply is the most important strenght of Cuba. This distinguishes Cuba from the other Caribbean islands: Cuba's most important competitors. Cuba can offer much more than the ordinary sun/ sea/ beach. It has a rich culture, beautiful nature and landscapes, immense architecture, interesting history and nice kolonial towns. Further, Cuba is one of the last communism countries. Cubanacan can inform visitors about other possibilities to spend their holidays in Cuba. This to motivate them to come back to Cuba. Young people can return on their honeymoon and businessmen could join a seminar. They could inform resort-tourists about the possibilities for theme-packaging like diving, cycling and walking and last but not least music/ dance culture trips. With the diversity of supply there is a big opportunity to avoid centralisation. For example culture trips to Santiago de Cuba, kolonial citytrips to Trinidad, nature and walking vacations to Pinar del Rio and Eastern Cuba and business tourism in Havana. For the local people tourism all over the island means employment en so income. The environment will be less effected because tourism will be spread over the island and not at one place. For the economy it is very positive, tourists come more often so Cuba receives more revenues.
