I raced on Sunday. It was 33 miles of a very hilly and twisty course. I thought I wouldn't have much problem finishing, but I only did 2 out of the 3 laps. I was dropped off the main group by the time I finished the first lap, but me and Tony were working together. We picked up a couple of other riders, but then they dropped me by the time I finished the second lap. If I knew that there were so many people behind me, I may have kept going. But I pulled off. I think I dressed too warmly because it was so cold before the start of the race. This may be a problem I've been having for the last couple of races. The next time, I may try dressing more cooly.
The next race is on Saturday, the Volunteer Park Criterium. Sunday is the Vashon Island race. I'm not sure if I am going to both or not, or which one I will go to. I think I'll also try to work on my hill climbing.
