| The images themselves are executed in a simple, iconographic line-drawing style because I want them to resemble the illustrations found in science textbooks or dictionaries, and to function almost as a kind of language. They are designed to be shown in a very specific arrangement because the formal relationships between the paintings suggest a narrative. | ||||||||||
