| This project not only explores the concept of drawing as a pseudo-linguistic system, but actually encompasses a textual element. In the accompanying video I explain in detail the name and function of each drawing and its relationship to the other drawings. | The video incorporates elements from news casting, high school science/educational videos, and art-history slideshow lectures. By thus pursuing the imposition of artistic authority to its absurdist end, I hope to say something about how text mitigates the meaning of visual experience, about the individual nature of interpretation, about how communication has both infinitely-detailed possibilities and impossibilities.
