Blitzball is a huge tournament that takes place in Spira,and also blitzball helps the people of Spira to get their minds off Sin.

Each team consists of 6 players:

~Left Forward (LF)~

~Mid fielder (MF)~

~Left Defense (LD)~

~Right Defense (RD)~

~Goalie (GL)~

Each blitzball player has a set of attributes that determines how well they shoot, pass, and tackle.

Action Commands:

 Shooting: As the ball is traveling toward the goalie, its SH will decrease until it as reached the goalie.  Its SH will be compared to the goalie's CA.  If any SH is left after it has been compared, it will be scored.  If is has 0 SH, it will be either blocked or caught by the goalie.  

Player Movements:

 Basically in option "Auto", the computer controls the player's movement in default settings.  In Manual A you control the player with the ball and the direction of movement corresponds to the mini-map.  In Manual B you also control the player with the ball, but the direction of movement of the player depends on the current camera angle.      

For the Manual options, you have 4 basic formation: (you can earn more formations as your team level increases)        

For players to gain experience, they would have to shoot, pass, tackle, and etc.  After each half, players will receive experience based on their performance.  They then gain levels depending how much experience they earn.

As you travel around Spira, you are able to recruit players.
