| 1) Only players that are rostered and paid in full are allowed to play Rec Hockey. 2) Suspended players from other leagues cannot play in Rec Hockey. 3) NO CARDED PLAYERS ALLOWED 4) Rec Hockey ages are sixteen (16) years and up. 5) Each team must submit a roster of players to a max of twenty (20) players. Players must be registered and paid up (postdated cheques accepted) prior to the first game. 6) Any player from in town that does not register and pay by the start of the first game will not be allowed to play that season. 7) Any player that moves to town with in the season will be allowed to register and pay to play with any team. (Cost to play for the season will be: up until end of December will be full season price, after Jan 1 half price, no players after end of February.) 8) Any player that owes money for fines or money owing from previous seasons, must be paid in full in order to play in the next season. 9) A team must have five (5) skaters and a goalie (in full equipment) to start the game. If a team does not have players, they can pick up other rec league players up to a maximum of seven (7) total players on the team. The game will still count in the standings. 10) Any team can pick up any goalie if you goalie is unavailable (play-offs included.) 11) There will be no make-up games, the team that "Defaults" will be marked defaulted. Prearranged cancellations will result in a loss for the team that cancelled and no default charged. After the fifth (5) default, that team will be ejected from the rec league. 12) All games must start on time. If a team is late, the clock will start at the designated time and a goal will be assessed to the ready team every five (5) minutes. If the late team is not ready to play by the end of the first period, they will be defaulted. 13) Each team has to provide five (5) pucks to the official prior to the start of the game. 14) Two (2) thirty (30) minute periods are played. 15) No body contact or slapshots allowed. 16) No redline. 17) No golf shots, forehand or backhand. A three (3) minute minor penalty will be assessed. |

| 1) Any player receiving three (3) minor penalities in one (1) game will be ejected from that game. Any player receiving a ten (10) minutes misconduct will be ejected the remainder of that game. 2) Any player receiving a five (5) minute major penalty in a game will be ejected from that game and given a game misconduct. 3) Any player assessed a game misconduct shall automatically receive a one (1) game suspension and a ten ($10.00) dollar fine. 4) Any player assessed a gross misconduct penalty shall receive a five (5) game suspension and a fifty ($50.00) dollar fine. 5) Any player assessed a match penalty, (such as attempt to injure, headbutt, attempt to kick, hair pulling, spearing, buttending, spitting) shall receive a ten (10) game suspension and a one hundred ($100.00) dollar fine. 6) Any player receiving a match penalty which has resulted in a serious injuryshall also receive a game misconduct and a one (1) year suspension from the date of the infraction and a one hundred ($100.00) dollar fine. 7) Any fighting major will result in ejection from that game, a five (5) game suspension and a fifty ($50.00) dollar fine. Second offence will result in a ten (10) game suspension and a one-hundred ($100.00) dollar fine. Third offence will result in either a one (1) year suspension or a discipline arranged by a meeting of all team reps. 8) Any player that has been ejected from a game will be allowed to watch from the stands. If they cause any kind of disturbance, a three (3) game suspension and a fifty ($50.00) dollar fine will handed out and will be asked to leave the building. 9) Any player who has been asked to leave the building and doesn't will receive a one (1) year suspension from that date and an additional one hundred ($100.00) dollar fine. 10) If any player or official is hurt by a slap shot, intentional or not, the offending player will be assessed a major penalty. 11) Any player drawing blood with a stick will be given a minor penalty and ejected from the game. 12) Any player intentionally bodychecks another player will receive a five (5) game suspension and a fifty ($50.00) dollar fine. Ref's discretion. 13) Any hooking above the waist or any stick aboe the waist will result in a minor penalty, if player continues with the stick work, player will be ejected from that game. 14) Striking or any attempt to strike an official is an automatic two (2) year suspension from the date of the infraction and a one hundred ($100.00) dollar fine. THREE PENALTY RULE 16) First offence is that game. 17) Second offence is that game. 18) Third offence is that game, a one (1) game suspension and a ten ($10.00) dollar fine. 19) Fourth offence is that game, a three (3) game suspension and a thirty ($30.00) dollar fine. 20) Fifth offence is that game, a five (5) game suspension and a fifty ($50.00) dollar fine. 21) Sixth offence is the rest of the season, a one year suspension and a one hundred ($100.00) dollar fine. |
