Was It Only Dream Part 1 (rated pg-13) (this story if after "Things Are Not Always As They Appear") Vincent's eyes fluttered open. His vision slightly blurry. Then he saw the beautiful face of his Catherine. Her eyes misted with tears. "Welcome back my love." " You had us scared there for a while." Placing a soft kiss upon his lips. "Catherine how long have I been out of it?" "For about three days." "We were all so worried about you." Seeing the concerned look in his eyes. "Vincent you developed a fever a few days ago." "You were unconscious for a while." "You tossed and turned the entire time." "Catherine where is our son?" "He is right across the room." " Sleeping peacefully in his crib." "Catherine, touching her tiny hand upon his face, has Lena or Lisa here? "No Vincent why do you ask? "Than it was only a horrible nightmare." Catherine saw his eyes begin to water, "Vincent sweetheart what's the matter?" " I had the most terrifying dreams." "Catherine in my dreams, if appeared as if you had betrayed our love." Smiling at Vincent, "it seems a certain little someone wants to see you." "He has been so restless and cranky." "He has barely fed for a few days." "He would cry himself to sleep everynight in my arms as I sat with you." "He must have known you were ill." Getting up she went to their son's crib. Gently picking him up she carried him back to the bed. "Look my little sweetheart daddy's awake now." Vincent raises his hand to lightly touch his beautiful son's tiny little face and his cry was replaced by a soft coo. "Hey little guy, your dad is going to be just fine." "I love you son." Looking at Catherine, baby Jacob will be fine now and I do believe he is quite hungry." Taking a seat by the bed, Catherine unbuttoned her blouse and laid the baby at her breast. He attached his tiny little lips to her nipple and fed hungrily. Looking at the tiny baby in her arms, she took his little hand inside her own. "You must be starving my little angel." "Drink as much as you want." Feeling Vincent's eyes upon her, Catherine looked up. "Catherine this is only one thing more beautiful than seeing you fed our son, lightly caressing her face, you." She is still not familiar with a lot of the codes so she asked him. "Vincent what did the message say?" Looking at her, "Catherine it just announced a visitor to the tunnels."
