| To Love Forever By Shirley Johns A little after midnight Vincent is sitting as his desk trying to write in the last journal Catherine gave him no matter how hard he tries he cannot bring any words too mind. Father joined him than looked at the blank pages and said I see you have not been able to instill any writings. He knows it has been rough on Vincent with the loss of Catherine over seven months ago. Than he found out that she left him a child and with the help of private investigator, Diana Bennett, he was able to find their son Jacob and bring him home. Having baby Jacob around, a part of Catherine was the only reason Vincent has come as far as he has. Looking at his beautiful son reminds Vincent of the love they shared and of all the sacrifices she made because of that love. Vincent lowers his head and his golden mane covers his face and hides his tears. Father looks at him and can see just how deeply his sorrow goes and almost weeps himself. He could not imagine how deep Catherine and Vincent's love was for each other or how far their Bond went. But he knew what they had was so rare it would never be duplicated or replaced. Catherine was what Vincent had needed all his life and she him. He knew what they had would never be shared again. The few short years they had together changed his life forever. He could never love anyone else and never wanted to. The depth of the love he had for her will remain locked in his heart until he takes his last breath. Good evening, Dr. Alcott how is our patient? Nurse she is doing just fine. She opened her eyes earlier and smiled at me but she didn't say anything. Maybe it's too soon after all she's been through. The nurse remembers the day she was brought there by District Attorney Joe Maxwell and Diana Bennett. Ms. Chandler had been given a near fatal injection of morphine and lapsed into a coma. The DA Joe Maxwell had received an anonymous tip that Catherine Chandler had been found in her apartment after she was missing for six months but she was dead. Mr. Maxwell arrived at her apartment and she was taken to the morgue. During her external autopsy the coroner noticed a slight pulse that would be invisible to the naked eye and immediately called the DA. He decided to put her under the Witness Protection Plan until her captors were all arrested. She also knew from Dr. Alcott that Catherine�s baby had been found and was somewhere safe. That had been over seven months ago and the doctors still cannot tell her friends and family that she is alive. The next day Vincent was at the Chamber of Falls when Diana made her weekly visit Below to see him. Since the first time she saw hi he had gained a special place in her heart. She knew that his love for Catherine was s strong that he would never love again. So she same to terms with that and they became friends and remained that way. She hopes that one day she could experience even the smallest amount of love they shared but untilthan she continues her visit and enjoys being a helper hoping one day she will find her true love. She also feels quilty about keeping the fact that Catherine is alive from Vincent everytime she looks and sees the hurt and pain in his beautiful blue eyes. But she knows it is the right thing to do until she can come home and be safe. Until than she will be there for him as a friend. Joe does not know of the tunnels or of Vincent (another secret she must keep) being that he is the DA he may not be able to let the fact go that Vincent killed on numerous occasions to save Catherine from harm. So she keeps him in the dark. He has questioned her at times where she goes but she can never tell him. She looks at Vincent sitting by the falls and he tells her this was a special place for he and Catherine (as he rubs the rose she have him for their first anniversary) we shared precious and loving moments here by the Waterfall. After her father died she came Below she needed me and asked if she could stay. Through our Bond we shared her grief and sorrow. The days she was here we spent time sitting by these falls discussing our love and our dream of a life together. All too soon she had to return Above but I will never forget the time she shared my world with me. Diana saw the sadness in his eyes again and it broke her heart knowing she could end it. But she could not jeopardize both Catherine and Vincent's lives. They had to stay apart until all Gabriella's people were found. A month later Dr. Alcott is very pleased with C Catherine's progress. She knows him as her doctor before, however, she has little memory of anything else. When she first came out of her coma she appeared to be aware of things but did not speak. After a few weeks she gained her voice back and has been talking ever since. Maybe in time when she can return home, she will regain her lost memories. Until than she must remain here in the hospital where she is safe. That night Catherine had a beautiful dream of a tall magnificently built man with gorgeous long blond hair and sky blue eyes. She could not see him very clear but just enough to know that he was special to her in some way. The next day when Dr. Alcott came to visit, she asked him if there had been an extraordinary man in her life. Peter not sure how to answer simply said yes there was. She asked him what his name was and he said "Vincent". She repeated the name and somehow it made her feel very loved, protected but also sad. What strong feelings hearing that name gave her? Peter did not want her to dwell on her past right now so he suggested that she take a nap. Before she drifted off to sleep she repeated the name "Vincent" with a smile. Later that evening Vincent and the other men had stopped working on the new chamber for the day. And, he was thinking about the welcome party the tunnel community had planned for the newest family of three (a mother father and a child) Everyone in the community was looking forward to this. It had been a long time since they had anything to celebrate. The last celebration was the first Winterfest Catherine attended over a year and a half ago. Vincent still remembers that day as if it was yesterday. She was so breathtakingly beautiful in a soft white dress and they danced their first waltz. These memories are so precious but they are also very painful. Vincent than gathered his thoughts and went to find his son. Whenever he becomes sadden by a thought of Catherine, he would find baby Jacob, hold him and seek comfort in his smile so like his mother's. Three weeks before the tunnel celebration, Diana found out from Joe that Catherine was out of her coma and had no memory of the past three years. Dr. Alcott said when she is able to leave the hospital and can start her life again maybe she will regain her memory. Joe told him, as soon as her life is no longer in danger he will find her a place to stay temporarily until they reopen her apartment. A week later Joe told Peter they apprehended all of Gabriel's people and the danger was over for Catherine. He would be there to pick her up around 8:00 tomorrow morning. He remembered how Catherine loved to walk in the park so with that thought in mind he found an apartment located one block from it. After Joe picked her up, on the way to her apartment she looked at her surroundings some he remembered some she did not. Joe assured her that in time she would have her memories back. She said she hopes so. She feels that the past three years were very important to her and she has lost so much by not remembering. After Joe made sure she was settled, she decided to go for a walk and try to sort through her thoughts. She has the same dream every night of this special man who was involved in her life somehow. Maybe if she keeps trying she can remember. She had entered the park and saw a woman with two children one was about three years old the other was about eight months old. Catherine noticed the infant had usual blond curly hair for one so small. The woman noticed her and spoke. Catherine went up to her to see the child and was amazed by his slightly slanted sky blue eyes that seems to see right through her and such a compliment to the infant's unruly blond hair. He was the most extraordinary beautiful child she had ever seen. Asked the lady his name she said "Jacob". For some reason Catherine found herself drawn to this child and asked if she could hold him. Catherine picked up the baby a little big for eight months and strong too as he grabbed her thumb in his little hand. Catherine spent the entire afternoon visiting with this woman and the two children and they became friends She was going to meet her and the children in the park everyday around the same time. After the first day Catherine learned the infant's mother had died shortly after his birth and she was baby-sitting for his father a dear friend of her family. To love Forever 2nd One evening Linda stopped by Vincent's chamber to say good night to Jacob and to ask his advise on how she can help her new friend. She told him she met this lovely young woman in the park about two weeks ago. She had a sad look in her gray green eyes but the moment she saw Jacob she was immediately drawn to him and he to her. I have never seen him react that way to a stranger before like they were connected somehow. Anyway, she had recently moved into a little apartment about one block from the park until her old apartment was reopened. You see Vincent; she had a dangerous job and about nine months ago it almost cost her life. She had been in a coma for about three months and when she regained consciences about four months ago she had lost her memories of the past three years. She doesn't know a great deal about what happened only a few details her family physician and friend told her and her former boss. They tell her when he came out the coma she was in a hospital under the Witness protection plan until the people that did this to her were arrested. That happened about two weeks and she finally returned home. Vincent I cannot imagine how it would feel not being able to remember years of your life. She said she knows they are happy years and she dreams of a special man who meant the world to her but cannot remember who he is. All she knows from her doctor is that they shared an extraordinary love, a connection a Bond, during those years. It saddens her not being about to remember him and what they shared but she knows his name, which is actually the same as yours Vincent. He had to ask her name, Linda please tell me what is her name? Cathy, when Vincent heard her name he was overcome by dizziness and grabbed the back of his chair. Is this woman Catherine? But how could it be? And if it is she, why was this kept secret from me? So many unanswered questions and he needed to talk to father. He told Linda he needed to see father and asked her to keep on eye on Jacob for a little while. She said of course she would and he ran out his chamber. Linda stared in stunned silence as she watched him leave: she has never seen him act this way. Father, as he arrives in his Chamber, what is it Vincent? Linda just told me she met a woman named Cathy in the park about two weeks ago. She had been ill and suffers from a loss of memory but Father I think this woman is Catherine. Catherine, my god, Vincent how can this be? Catherine is dead you saw her yourself. Diana enters Father's chamber and they both turn toward her, she looked into Vincent's eyes and says yes, Vincent, Catherine is alive. All he could do was stare at her with tears in his eyes. Father spoke, Diana please explain? First Vincent I want to tell you how sorry I am that I could not tell you but we had to protect both of you until Gabriel's men were all captured. This happened about two weeks ago. She explained that when Vincent found Catherine she had not died but lapsed into a coma. This was not discovered until right before her autopsy. The coroner noticed a slight pulse that would have been invisible to the naked eye and called Joe right away. She saw the look on Vincent's face and told him he would not have seen it but may have realized it had his Bond not been gone. Joe admitted her in the hospital under the Witness protection Plan and she was taken care of by Dr. Alcott. Vincent and Father gasped, yes he knew as well but we had to keep this a secret to keep both of you alive. Vincent we knew you would want to be with her but that was too dangerous for both of you. Keeping her dead to the public actually kept both of you alive. Unfortunately when she came out of her coma she had lost the last three years of her memory and we did not want to tell you Vincent right away. Peter had hoped that she would regain it once she returned to her apartment but so far noting. Vincent was so overjoyed that he wanted to run, grab Catherine in his arms and never let her go. Diana explained that the have to be patient with her loss of memory. Vincent understood this but he had to see her. So later that night he would go to her balcony and just look from the outside. He had to see for himself. Around midnight Vincent climbed to Catherine's balcony and saw her lying on the couch. He stared at her with tears in his eyes, as his beloved Catherine was indeed alive. He could not take his eyes off of her. He could not get enough of seeing her. God she is so beautiful. How he loves her so. And at that moment he unlocked his heart and released the Bond in gull force. He could now feel every one of her emotion and would use that to try and help her. Vincent stayed until dawn than returned Below. He will help Catherine remember everything and give her the wish she always wanted to live Below with him in his world. Catherine awoke early the next morning with a strange feeling that she had been watched all night by the man in her dreams. It seemed so real yet how could it be? Her apartment is sixteen stories up. Anyway, her dream was a little clearer now and she knew he was kind and gentle with the same blond hair coloring and beautiful blue eyes she saw on little Jacob. If se did not know any better she would say they were exactly the same. Could it be possible that the man in her dreams is little Jacob's father? If so what does this mean to her? When she meets Linda and the boys in the park today she will ask her about Jacob's father. In the tunnels Below, Vincent called a counsel meeting concerning the upcoming party. He first explained to every one with so much joy and happiness that he found out Catherine is alive. They started to ask him all kinds of questions, before he answered any he advised them of her memory loss of the last three years. They all realized that she would have no memory of any of them or the tunnels Below. He further explained that Linda had met her in the park was telling him about her situation. Of how she only knows she had someone special in her life with which she shared a Bond but not much else. I later found out later it was Catherine and she had been in the Witness Protection Plan under it was safe for her to return home. I want Linda to bring Catherine to our celebration. I am hoping her being Below with people who love her may help with her memory loss. However, he will not be visible at the party he feels seeing him too soon may not be a good idea. The tunnel community felt bad that he could not enjoy the party and they understood his reasons. However, little Jacob would be there with Father. Catherine met Linda and the boys at the park and they invited her to come to their party being given by her new family. She said the place where their family lives is not in the city but Below it in the tunnels. Catherine could not believe that people actually live in the tunnels but she had heard rumors when she was hospitalized. She said she would be delighted to come and meet her family than asked if Jacob's father would be there. Linda said she is not sure if he will make but he would try. For some reason Catherine just had to see his father and hoped and prayed he would be there. The day came for the party and Catherine was beside herself with excitement. Thus us the first time she actually had something to do too since she has been home. Linda met her at the park around 4:00 and led her to a tunnel entrance near the end of the park and they entered a secret door. Catherine could feel her heart beating rapidly hoping to see Jacob's father. They entered the tunnel and went through a hidden door that opened to a large room, to Catherine's amazement it was lit by hundreds of candles and so many people were there. They were dressed differently from what she was used to but remembered that they needed clothes to ward off the tunnel chill. As they entered the room everyone turned their direction and welcomed her. The first person she met was Father. Father approached her. Welcome Catherine a lovely name for a lovely lady; everyone here calls me Father. I am the overseer of the tunnel community and of course you know my grandson Jacob. Catherine ruffled his curly head and said how you doing little guy, as soon as little Jacob saw Catherine he put his arms out to go to her. As she gathered him in her arms, he tightens his little arms around her neck and rested his head on her chest. It seems my dear you have captured my grandson's heart and he has captured mine Father. He looked at them and almost wept. Vincent, on the other hand, was in the shadows observing the beautiful sight before and did cry. How he wished he could go to her, wrap her in his arms and tell her how much he loves her but now is not the time. One day soon he will, one day soon. Catherine was really enjoying herself meeting these wonderful people who made he feel so welcome. She knew she would not remember a lot of the names but that will come with time. Jacob's father still has not come and she was getting a little disappointed. She just had to know if he is the one in her dreams. As the evening wore on little Jacob fell asleep and Catherine asked where she could put him down. Father told her she could do so in his father's chamber. This was the moment she was waiting for maybe she will get to see him after all. Father said he would show her where it is. She asked that if it was not too complicate she could find it and take him there herself. There was no reason for him to leave the celebration so he gave her directions and she left. He knew Vincent was somewhere close ad he would make sure she got there OK. After one incorrect turn, she was finally there. She entered the chamber and felt as if she had been there before but why? She gently laid Jacob down in his crib and looked around. She saw lot of books, she thought he must like to read. A lot of them were by authors she had at home. They must have similar reading tastes. His room was very neat and tidy but she notices no mirrors. She kept looking when all of a sudden she felt as if someone was watching her. Is anyone there? No answer. I know someone is there I can feel your presence. Are you Jacob's father? After a moment of silence she hears this incredible voice answer yes. That voice is familiar to her, think Catherine think. Oh my god that is the voice I kept hearing in my coma. Please you must tell me your name, it was a soft whisper but she heard him say Vincent. Vincent can I see you? No, I am afraid what you might see will frighten you and I cannot bring myself to do that Catherine. You know my name? Yes I do. We know each other don't we? Can you tell me how? I must know. You see I have been having dreams overnight of a very special man in my life that meant the world to me. I need to find him to get back what we had. Ca you help me please? I am begging you. Catherine please don't do this. Please Vincent I need to see you I need too. He stepped out of the shadows and Catherine saw the man in her dreams than whispered his name as she lost consciences. Vincent caught her in time and carried her to his bed. He felt terrible that he made her faint. So he tried to hurry out the room before she awoke. He was just about to step out the door of his chamber when he heard her say Vincent I love you. He stopped, turned around to face her and she said I love you with all my heart. He ran to the bedside and took her in his arms. On the verge of tears she looks into his beautiful blue eyes and tells him she remembers everything. He looked down into her gray green eyes shining with unshed tears, tells her he loved her with all his heart and captures her lips in a kiss. Vincent released her lips but kept her tight in his embrace and said let's go see our son. Yes, Catherine Jacob is our little boy. When Catherine rested her head on Vincent's chest he pulled her tighter into him embrace and they watched their beautiful son sleep. When father entered Vincent's chamber that was the scene that met his eye. So he quietly turned around and let them have their privacy. He had no idea what happened but the scene that just greeted him was the happiest one he had ever seen and this time he did cry. With Catherine still in his embrace he led her from Jacob's crib to the bed and they sat. He told her there are some things he must tell her. He gathered her delicate face between his large hands and told her he should have said this a long time ago. Catherine my love for you goes so deep it is beyond words, I was scared to tell you for fear of you rejecting my love. When I found you I fell in love with you right away but what I never imagined was that you would love me in return. I knew that I could never be loved by anyone for what I am. But, you changed my life by giving me hopes and dreams. You showed me things I never dreamed of, you sacrificed yourself to save me and you bore me a son. When I thought you died, I died with you. I could no longer go on until I found out you left me a son. If it were not for Jacob I would have ended my life to be with you. You tried to tell me about our son on the rooftop when I found you but I could not remember the time in the cavern. Unfortunately, I still cannot remember the love we shared when he was conceived. Can you tell me? Yes I'll tell you. I came into the cavern and you were ready to attack me (she heard him gasped) until I called your name you recognized me and then you fell to the ground taking me with you. I thought you had left me and I could not let you do that. You were not going without me. I felt that if I could give my love to you it may bring you back. Vincent I kissed you with all the love inside me and I felt you respond. After you kissed me back it unleashed desires within us that have been kept hidden since we met. I saw you body respond and we loved. After we loved you lost conscientiousness. I hurried and reassembled our clothes before father came in. He asked how you were and I said you were alive. So with his help and a few others we took you to your chamber where you went to sleep. When you woke up with no memory of anything that happened between us in the cavern it hurt that you could not remember the first time we were truly together and because of all you went through felt it best not to tell you at that time. These past few months have been filled with sorrow and pain for both of us and I need you to do something for me. Yes, Catherine anything you want. Vincent please hold me right here right now. I want to feel you around me, a part of me so I know this is real. He did not hesitate and gave her a kiss that left them breathless. Catherine before we love I want you to know the you are fertile right now and if we do you will get pregnant. She said, Vincent this is what I want and in case I forget , thank you for letting me bare you another child. He kissed her lips said no my love Thank you and they loved. Vincent was the first to awaken from their lover's cocoon and kissed Catherine awake. As much as I would love staying snuggled with you, I think the others may start getting worried about you being gone so long. Catherine said I know you're right, and they got washed and dressed so they could join the others. Little Jacob woke up as well and they all rejoined the party. When they reached the entrance of the main hall everyone welcomed her back with loving arms. Vincent kissed her said welcome home and the whole crowd cheered. The party was in full swing everyone was having a good time and father asked Catherine how she remembered. She said as soon as she saw Vincent her love for him brought her memory back. Father looked at his son with his family and never dreamed he would experience this wonder and he blesses god each day from bringing Catherine Chandler into his son's life. While Vincent, Catherine and little Jacob enjoy the party Diana comes in. She looks at Catherine and Vincent with their son and sees so much love between them. They cannot take their eyes off each other and she hopes one day she will find a love like theirs. As the evening drew to a close Catherine and Vincent were the first to leave as they had some catching up to do. Jacob had already fallen asleep and Linda took him to her chamber to give them some time alone. When she first me Catherine she would not have imagined that she was Vincent's only true love and Jacob's mother. However, having known her, she understands how Vincent fell in love with her. Back in Vincent's chamber he and Catherine discussed their relationship. Catherine quite frankly told him because of Jacob their love and passion for each other and after what they have been through, under no circumstances is she going to remain Above. She will be moving Below very soon so that she can be with them always. She wants to go to bed and wake up in his arms every ****he stopped her in mid sentence with a hard kiss and told her the sooner she gets herself down here the better they will all be. She smiled wrapped her arms around him and gave him a big hug. He told her that when he found out she was alive but had lost three years of her memory he vowed he would help her get those years back and grant her the wish she always wanted to live Below in his world. Catherine spent the next two weeks clearing out her desk after resigning from her job as well as her apartment. Her nights find her always-wrapped in Vincent's embrace .Two weeks after Catherine moved Below she found out she was indeed pregnant again as Vincent had said and she couldn't wait to tell him. He was repairing some of the tunnel today and would not be home until late this evening. So she decided to surprise him with a candlelit diner in the Chamber of Falls and tell him of the baby on the way. Father said he would keep Jacob for the night so she could plan her special dinner. She kissed father on the cheek thanked him and set out to make her plans. First thing she did was have a note delivered to Vincent sating to meet her at the falls around 6:00 PM. She than packed a dinner consisting of red wine, steak, salad along with strawberries and whipped cream for dessert and candles. Next she decided on what she could wear that would heat up the evening. She remembered the skimpy red undergarment her friend Jennie had brought her a few years ago as a joke and decided now is the perfect time to wear it. Now that everything was set it was 5:30 and she set off to the Falls. She arrived and set up the dinner lit the candles and waited for Vincent. About 6:02 he arrived freshly showered and changed. She ran to him jumped in his arms and kissed him hard. He said he just loves her welcome home embraces after a long day's work. She led him to the table and explained this was a celebration dinner she just found out she is expecting again. Vincent stood up gathered her in his arms and said he could not be happier about being a father again. May be this time we will have a little girl just like you. Catherine smiled and said that maybe we will a little girl. They enjoyed dinner by the Falls but Catherine had plan for dessert. She told Vincent to close his eyes she had something for him and he did. She removed her clothes and stood before him in the most sensual piece of material he had ever seen. He could not take his eyes off her. She asked him if he was ready for dessert. Trying to swallow he shook his head yes. She took a strawberry dipped in whipped cream and offered it to him. He took a bite leaving some on his lips that she gladly licked off and than kissed. At this point he didn't know which was sweeter Catherine or the strawberry. She took one herself and he gladly licked the remains off her mouth in return and determined Catherine is definitely sweeter. They enjoyed this love play for a little while longer but it became too sensual and they had to have each other. He gently laid her back on the blanket and removed her skimpy outfit to enjoy her natural beauty. Passion spent they walked over to the Falls and take a swim. They spent quite a while in the water . When they finally came out they gently dried each other off. Vincent sat down on the ground and grabbed Catherine from behind to sit on his lap. They stayed that way fulfilled and content looking as each other and the Falls. Catherine told Vincent that she has never been happier in her life and it was all because of him. He softly rubbed her cheek and told her he never thought he would experience such happiness all because of her love and acceptance of him just as he is. She gave him a big hung and a kiss and said never stopped loving me. Vincent took her tiny hands in his own, looked into her beautiful gray green eyes and asked her to become his wife. Catherine was speechless for a moment than started to cry and said yes, yes, yes, I will be honored to be your wife. Vincent than joined her in tears. The time came for them to leave their lover's nest and return to their chamber but they will always remember the day he proposed to her for the rest of their lives. After they arrived at their Chamber she asked him if he was tried yet. He replied no but she asked him to come to bed anyway. As soon as he did she smoothed his beautiful face with her hand and thanked him for the lovely evening and needed his love. Vincent smiled and asked her how is he going to keep up with her. She said don't worry sweetheart with your stamina you will. Catherine awoke first and looked at the beautiful man beside her and wondered how she could be so lucky to have him love her so. Vincent felt her looking at him and opened his eyes asking her what she was doing. She replied she was admiring his beauty and wondering how she could be so lucky to be loved by him. He took her hands inside his and said he was the lucky one from the night he found her. They shared a good morning kiss and stay in bed for another hour. When they arose, they decided to go to the Falls to wash up. When they were done , Vincent than lifted her up as if she weights that of a child and carried to their Chamber where they got dressed and joined the others for breakfast. Father couldn't help but smile at the lovers' glow they both had when the entered the dining area. Yes, Catherine and Vincent definitely got very little sleep last night. Shortly after they arrived Linda brought in little Jacob and gave him to Catherine. She and Vincent each gave their little boy a hug and a kiss and asked him how would he like a little brother or sister. Father couldn't help but overhear and said to himself, his son never ceases to amaze him. Not only does he have a beautiful woman that loves him dearly but a beautiful son and another baby on the way. He could not be happier for them until Vincent made the announcement that Catherine had agreed to become his wife. They were married two months later in the tunnel hall. Catherine was a radiant bride and Vincent was a handsome groom together they made a stunning couple as they said their vows with so much love and tenderness. The entire tunnel community ended up crying tears of joy. Catherine's wedding present to Vincent was a house she brought away from the city but close to a tunnel entrance. It has a high fence for privacy, a big backyard for the children and a sunporch with a writing desk specifically for him. When he saw the house he could not believe his eyes. They will have a home Above for them to enjoy the daylight and a home Below in the tunnels. Just when he thought Catherine could give him no more, she surprises him with this. His gift to her was not as costly but it meant the world to her. He gave her a bracelet and earrings made out of the same crystal as the necklace he gave her for this first anniversary together. The necklace was given to her so that she could keep a piece of his world close to her heart. Three months later they moved into their new home. Vincent still could not believe what Catherine had done. She just put Jacob down for a nap when he came behind her, kissed her neck, gently rubs her belly heavy with their child and said I love you. She turned around in his embrace on tiptoes puts her arms around him and says she loves him back. They share a passionate kiss than Vincent carries her to the bedroom. Passion spent they snuggle together and drift off to sleep. A month has gone by Catherine and Vincent could not be happier in their new home. Jacob is starting to walk and loves the backyard. They enjoy sitting outside in the sunshine seeing what he can get himself into. Catherine is entering her sixth month and based on Jacob's delivery their other child should be born soon. Vincent cannot stop looking at Catherine who is more beautiful (if possible) carrying their child. He loves the fact that he is with her during this pregnancy. He enjoys rubbing her belly at night and gently resting his head there feeling the movements of their child. Catherine loves when he does this and plays with his gorgeous blond hair. He could spend hours in bed doing this if she would let him. Yes the love the have has no limits or boundaries; they share everything as one person. One cannot live without the other. The times they are apart all they can think about is the time they will be together. They start their morning loving each other than change for breakfast with little Jacob. Catherine is home tending her garden with little Jacob while Vincent works in the tunnels. At lunchtime while Jacob naps Vincent comes home and they enjoy lunch together until he returns Below. The evenings find their family outside or inside enjoying their life together. Once Jacob is asleep for the night you could find Catherine and Vincent enjoying each other in the garden, on the sunporch or in the living room they stay together anywhere and anytime the can. Near the end of Catherine's sixth month Vincent came home later than usual one evening and missed see Jacob. He did go to his room to say goodnight and gave him a kiss. Catherine met him at the door with a hard kiss and a hug. He gently lifts her off her feet and kisses her back. She asked him if they could love earlier today as this maybe the last time they can for a while. He told her to let him change, tapped her on the rear and said he'll love having dessert before dinner. He had just stepped into the shower when Catherine joined him there. And began to wash him. When she was done he washed her. Having enjoyed the most exquisite shower imaginable, Vincent carries her to their bed and wrapped her protectively in his arms and stay there until dinnertime.. favor. Catherine was busy setting the table and did not notice how Vincent could not take his eyes off of her. After she set the table and served dinner it was her turn to watch Vincent's magnificently masculine form. They finished dinner and cleaned the kitchen and return to the livingroom where they cuddled together and fell asleep. Catherine had been correct when two hours late he water broke and she woke up Vincent telling him it was time. He got dressed as did Catherine gathered Jacob in his arms and hurried to the tunnel entrance. He left Jacob with Linda and went to find father. When they arrived back at the house Catherine's contractions had started. She was in so much pain and Vincent could feel it with her. He was beside himself with worry. After six long hours Catherine and Vincent welcomed their baby girl. She had the same curly blond hair as her brother Jacob with slightly slanted gray-green eyes but was the imagine of her mother. They looked at their beautiful daughter and cried. Six weeks later Vincent, Catherine, little Jacob Vincent and baby Mary Catherine were in their garden when they received an unexpected visitor. Vincent took the children downstairs to the gameroom while Catherine answered the door. She went to the door and to her surprise there stood Joe Maxwell her former boss. Catherine has not seen or heard from him since the day she resigned. He said finally Radcliffe, I found you. I have been looking for you for months wondering how you were doing. Right now his is in the gameroom with our son Jacob, who he rescued from Gabriel and our new baby girl Mary Catherine. She went to the gameroom door and asked Vincent to bring himself and the children to finally met Joe. Little Jacob was the first one to see Joe; he was a striking handsome young man with extraordinary blue eyes. Catherine than reaches behind the door for baby Mary. Tall muscular, powerfully built with lionize facial features, long blond hair like a lion's mane, catlike piecing blue eyes and clawed hands. Yes now Joe understood everything and why Cathy wanted to keep Vincent a secret. Vincent told Joe he was glad to meet him and extended his hand. Joe took it with ease and said he was finally glad to meet the man who captured Catherine Chandler's heart. They enjoyed a pleasant evening in the backyard. Vincent and Joe got along great but who can resist Vincent's charm. When it was time for Joe to leave he promised her again that her secret would remain as that and asked if he could come and see them sometime. They both said they would like that and he left. After he was gone Catherine told Vincent she was glad Joe knew everything now and he would keep their secret. Later that evening Vincent and Catherine put the children to bed for the night and cleaned up the house. Since it had been six weeks since they loved they could not wait to do so. They checked on the kids one more time than Vincent lifted her in his strong arms and gently carried her to the bedroom. His size next to hers amazes Vincent but they are perfect together. After they loved, Catherine again became with child. Mary Catherine' s cry for her 4:00 feeding wakens Vincent. He looks at Catherine's beautiful face still asleep and gently starts to leave the bed. Catherine immediately tightens her arms around asking him to stay right where he is. He said Catherine my sweet, with a kiss on the tip of her nose, I could stay with you forever but it seems our baby girl is hungry. Catherine comes fully awake than and starts to get out of bed. He gently lays her back down and said he will get her. He leaves the bed and returns with the baby. He softly pulls the covers off Catherine's shoulder to expose her breast and lays the baby in her arms. Their daughter immediately attaches herself to Catherine' breast and begins feeding. Vincent slid in bed next to Catherine pulled her into his arms and watched the beautiful sight before him. As the baby drinks her full, Vincent softly rubs her golden curls. Than he turned Catherine's face to his and captured her mouth in a good morning kiss. Vincent and Catherine lost themselves within their kiss until the baby brought them back to the present when she stopped feeding. After Catherine burped her she fell back to sleep. She stayed in Catherine's arms a little while longer than Vincent removed from Catherine and returned her to her crib so he could love her. Two months have passed and Vincent went to work in the tunnels a little earlier this morning. Catherine had the whole house to herself when she returned seeing Peter her family doctor as Linda took the children to the park to play. She decided she would visit Vincent at work. She changed into jeans and left for the tunnels. She got half way down the tunnel entrance when she was lifted up from behind and turned around to look into the beautiful eyes of her husband. Vincent Wells you scared me she scolded him. See Catherine Wells when you sneak around you can never be too sure who might find you. OK I know you're right I just wanted to surprise you today. He showed her how they were repairing some tunnels adding reinforcements to keep them from falling or shifting. He took her hand and led her further into the tunnels through another passage. When they arrived at their destination Catherine could not believe the sight that met her; it was the place where Vincent had found the crystal to make her lovely jewelry. The place actually glowed with the beauty of it. She told Vincent this and he said no, this place is lovely but it cannot hold a candle to your beauty Mrs. Wells. On she loves it when he says that and she reached on tiptoes and planted a sloppy kiss on his lips. I love you Mr. Wells and he kissed her back. They stayed there among the crystal for two hours than Vincent returned her to the tunnel entrance, as she had to get home for the children's' return from the park. Before she left, he gave her a hug, a kiss, a pat on the behind and told her he's looking forward to their loving when he gets home. She said Until later than, winked and started to descend the ladder to the outside when she said oh Vincent I almost forgot to tell you something. Yes, Catherine? I'm pregnant again. He ran to the ladder lifted her up, swung her around, planted kisses all over her lovely face and said my love just when I thought you could not make he happier you do it again. Vincent my love I am grateful that you have chosen my body to bare you children and I want to give you as many as I can. He gathered her in his arms and said everytime they are together he hopes and prays that she becomes with child, as he wants as many with her as god will allow. Catherine looked at Vincent her eyes wet with unshed tears and tells him she loves so much than goes up the ladder and home. Later that evening after Vincent and Catherine bathe the children and put them to bed they outside to admire their rose garden. Vincent sits Catherine on his lap and rubs her still flat stomach knowing their child is growing there and asked what she thinks a boy or a girl? She said probably another boy. They stay outside loving each other under the moon and the stars until dawn. Six months later Vincent and Catherine could not be happier. They are sitting outside on Christmas Eve watching Jacob and Mary play in the snow while two-month-old twins Joe and Jennie nap. The twins were a real surprise but a happy one. When Catherine went into labor in her fifth month both father and Peter were very concerned until they realized she was delivering twins and they do come early. They both have their dad's blue eyes with soft curly brown hair and look like mom. The children played outside for a little while longer than come in for lunch and hot chocolate. Having been outside in the cold for a while the children starting getting sleepy and they put them down for a nap. Vincent lifts Catherine in his arms and carries her to the living room. They cuddle in front of the fireplace admiring their Christmas tree loaded with presents. They will be spending Christmas Eve at home and Christmas Day Below with their family and friends. Catherine and Vincent love in front of the fireplace and they love quite often. He easily lifted her off the couch his eyes never leaving her beautiful face and gently lays her on the floor. His eyes never wavering, he slowly removes his shirt. They love each other and Catherine gets with child. Coming back from Heaven Vincent carries Catherine's to the couch and places her on his lap. She puts her arms around his neck and gently lays her head on his chest listening to the heart that had beaten as one with hers only moments before. Vincent looks down into the beautiful face of his wife, tightens his embrace and takes her lips in his own. They share the sweetest kiss content in each other's arms as the magic of Christmas filled their home. The End |
