Shared Dream Part 19 Vincent was playing a leisurely game of chess with father when he felt the panic in Catherine stopping in the middle of a big chess move. "Son what is wrong asked father seeing the worried look on Vincent's face?" "Father it is Catherine she is in a panic about something." "Vincent there is nothing you can do it is still daylight." "Well father Catherine needs me I have to find a way to her." "Vincent I will send a helper to Catherine's office right away.� "We can start from there." "She is not at the office, she is somewhere far away" said Vincent pacing back and forth. "We will contact her office anyway son, please try and calm down." Meanwhile on the plane Catherine got an idea. "Elliot it is okay if I freshen up a bit before our wedding?" Of course love, the restroom is over there." "The first door on the right." Grabbing her purse she said "thanks Elliot I will not be long and she entered the bathroom. Shutting the door she began to rummage through her purse found it. �Thank goodness Elliot did not think about taking her cell phone� and she dialed Joe. "Joe Maxwell here." "Hi Joe it's Cathy". "Listen I do not have much time to explain everything but I am in trouble here." "Elliot has kidnapped me." "He says we are getting married in Las Vegas." "My god Cathy where are you now asked Joe?" "We are on his private plane we have just left the airport." "I heard him say they had to make one stop in Jamestown before they head non-stop to Las Vegas." "Joe is there some way you can keep the plan grounded in Jamestown until I can figure out a way to escape from Elliot?" "Cathy I will do whatever I can and pull whatever strings are necessary. "Don't worry you will not get to Las Vegas." Hang in there kiddo we will save you." "Thanks Joe I knew I could count on you bye." As soon as Joe hung up, he called his boss and explained the situation. They will keep Elliot's plane grounded until Joe can take the company helicopter to the airstrip and rescue Catherine. Joe was just about to step out the door when a helper stopped him. "Are you Joe Maxwell?" "Yes I am but I am in a hurry." "I have a message for you," said the helper. Taking the message, Joe read: Mr. Maxwell: "I am Catherine's future father in law." "Her fianc� is very worried about her, he feels she may be in trouble." "Have you heard from her?" " The messenger will await your reply." Thank you, Jacob Wells Looking up from the note Joe wrote a response. Dear Mr. Wells: "I do not have much time." " I have spoken to Catherine." "I do not know many details but your son is correct Catherine is in trouble. "She was kidnapped by Elliot Burch this afternoon." "He plans on marrying her in Las Vegas." "We will be keeping the plane grounded when it stops in Jamestown. I promise we will get her back safely. Joe Maxwell Folding up the note Joe gave it to the messenger. "I have to go." " Please give this reply to Mr. Wells or Catherine's fianc� as soon as possible and he left the office to catch the company helicopter. Returning back to the tunnels, Kipper immediately went to see Vincent to give him the note knowing how worried he was about Catherine. "Vincent said Kipper, I have a reply from Mr. Maxwell" handing him the note. Seeing the look on Vincent's face as he read it , father began to worry again. "Vincent is something wrong with Catherine?" "Father ,Joe said Catherine has been kidnapped by Elliot Burch." "He plans on marrying her in Las Vegas." "She called Joe and told him as much as she could before Elliot found out she had called." "They are going to ground his plane in Jamestown and get Catherine back." That is all he wrote said Vincent." "Father it is my fault this happened." "I should never have let Catherine go back to work." "Vincent how can you say that?" "Father Catherine and I shared another dream last night." "This one was about her getting married only Elliot Burch was the groom." "When we woke up in the middle of the night, we did not know what the dream actually meant but we knew we had to be cautious remembering the other dreams she had." "Apparently we were not cautious enough father" and Vincent slammed his hand on the writing desk. "Son how could the two of you have known when and where something like this would happen." "She had to return Above to resign and clean up her lose ends.� �You could not go with her in the daytime." "You cannot blame yourself Vincent." "Father until Catherine is safely back Below, I will not stop blaming myself." "I should be saving her not waiting to hear from Joe, and he began pacing once again." Elliot's plane remained grounded in Jamestown and the police arrested Elliot Burch for kidnapping. When Joe met Cathy he asked" if she was all right and if she wanted to press charges?" Going over to Elliot, she told him if he promises to leave her alone and never contact her again, she will not file any charges." "Looking at her he said Cath I will always love you but I promise I will never bother you again. Joe asked the police "to hold Elliot at the police station until he arrived." "He was taking Ms. Chandler back home to Manhattan and will fly back to Jamestown later that evening." "Wrapping his jacket around her, he said come on Cath we are taking you home to that fianc� of yours who is very worried about you." "By the way Cath when will I get to meet him?"
