" I will be looking forward to meeting Joe one day as well to thank him for bringing you back to me." With Vincent's arm around her waist, they returned to the tunnels. They stopped by father's chamber to let him know Catherine was safe and they asked not to be disturbed. "They had a long exhausting day and they wanted to be alone." Understanding this father said goodnight and he would make sure no one bothered them. Arriving at their chamber Vincent lifted Catherine in his arms and carried her to the bed. "Vincent what are you doing asked Catherine when he laid her in the middle of the bed and started removing her clothes as well as his own. "You have been hurt?" "Yes Catherine I have been hurt but the thought of losing you and never making love to you again was more painful than my injury." "I need you Catherine." Looking into his beautiful blue eyes Catherine saw his desire matched her own and whispered "I need you too." Capturing her lips in a kiss, he joined their bodies as one. As they lay together desires fulfilled, Catherine explained to Vincent how Elliot managed to kidnap her and she was so glad the ordeal was over. Lightly rubbing his chest she said "this time next week Catherine Chandler will disappear from the world Above to start a new life Below with the man that I love as Mrs. Vincent Wells." "That has a very nice sound to it don't you think?" Taking her lips in a quick kiss, he said, "it sounds wonderful." "I love you Catherine." "As I love you Vincent" and they came together once more.
