Proud Parents Part 4 final chapter Back to the Beginning By Shirley's Fanfic Index Shirley Johns Vincent carried Catherine and the baby down the many tunnels leading to their chamber when they arrived he softly laid them upon the bed . Father and Peter asked him to hold the baby while they exam Catherine. Vincent bent and ever so gently picked up their son who immediately looked in his father�s eyes so like his own and appeared to smile. Vincent could only look at his son in wonderment at his beauty. He than looked at Catherine placed a kiss on her lips and told her they would not be far away. She lightly touched his hand nodded her head and said I love you.. I love you too my sweet and left them to their privacy. He took a seat at a far end of their chamber and held his precious son. When father and Peter told him she was just fine he can return. They also want to exam the baby. Father took him from Vincent and asked that he go to Catherine and they will bring his son to them. He handed the baby to father and return to his beloved. When Catherine breastfeeds their baby, Vincent holds her within his embrace whenever he can and his heart swells up with love at the sight before. Our Love The following morning Vincent woke up first knowing that Jacob would soon want his 6:00 feeding. He noticed how Catherine how peacefully she slept upon him. He climbed out of bed and went to get Jacob. Gently laying him against her breast he slid in beside her pulling her within his embrace as they watch their son feed. After a few moments Vincent said (as he lightly ruffles his son�s hair) Thank you Catherine for loving me as you do and for giving me a son created from our love. Tunnel Surprise Catherine and Vincent have been married for six months and are the happiest they have ever been. Catherine wanted to do something special for Vincent to show him how much he is loved by her. She and baby Jacob went to see father and she asked him if he knew when Vincent was born? He said when they found him as an infant they did not know how old he was because of his unique body structure. So in answer to your question, I do not know. It was hard keeping this a secret from Vincent because of their Bond but she managed to do so. When the day came father purposely kept Vincent at the tunnel until 6:00 in the evening. The Grand Hall was beautifully decorated with candles and different color balloons. William fixed a menu consisting of all Vincent�s favorite foods and his birthday cake was perfect. Sky blue icing to match his gorgeous eyes decorated with purple and pink journals. Compliments of William�s expert decorating. All the tunnel people had made him gifts and she got him a new journal. She will tell him that she is expecting again after the party. When Vincent arrived at the hall he felt excitement from Catherine as father asked him to close his eyes. When he opened them �Surprise� and he was overwhelmed by the sight before him. Catherine approached him gave him a big kiss and said I wanted to give the love of my life his first birthday party.. With tears glistening in his eyes, he told her that this gesture has made him lover her evenmore if possible. Everyone enjoyed the party and he received lots of lovely gifts. Catherine kept hers for last. She asked him to take a seat and placed the wrapped package before him. He opened it to find a beautiful black leather journal trimmed in 10k gold. He looked at Catherine with tears in his eyes and said he has never received a more touching gift. Thank you my love. He opened the first page and read the inscription: To Vincent: The love you have given me is worth everything. You have made all of my dreams come true. Your love has made me stronger and gave me courage I never know I had. This journal is a small token of my love and to thank you for the chance to share your world. Happy Birthday My Love, Catherine Vincent read the last line as tears ran down his face and he gathered her to his chest and thanked her for giving him everything and for sharing his world. Later that night as they are getting ready for bed, Catherine asked Vincent to sit down on the bed with her there is something she needs to asked him.. Happily Ever After Final Chapter Catherine is sitting at Vincent's desk completing another chapter in her journal. Dear Journal Tunnel life to me has been a dream come true. We have been married four years now. Oh we had a few obstacles along the way but our love stayed strong and we overcame them as one. We had to expand our chamber again with the birth if our third child. The children inherited their father's gorgeous but unruly blond locks, slanted eyes and his Bond. Vincent Jacob now three has his dad's magnificent blue eyes. Charles Devlin now two has my gray green ones and six month old Mary Catherine has greenest blue ones a combination of both. The rest of their looks they inherited from me. They are three stunningly beautiful children as the tunnel community comments on all the time. I told Vincent a few days ago had they inherited more of his unique appearance they would have been even more beautiful. He just shakes his head and says my beauty surpasses his by far. We love each other more and more each day. The children keep us busy but we would have it no other way. I took the children above yesterday afternoon to enjoy the sunshine and Vincent joined us later after dark. Vincent did not have to work today so he gave me some time alone while he took the children. Well I will close this chapter for today as Vincent has come to escort me to dinner. As he entered the chamber, he wrapped her in his arms and gave her a kiss with a promise of thoroughly loving her later tonight. She loves it when he does this and she answered him back with one of her own. I am looking forward too it. They half ran half skip holding hands as they headed to dinner. Mary had taken the children while Vincent came and got her. When they arrived everyone was seated around the table enjoying their meal. The children were doing their usual talking with their mouths full but they could not have seen a lovelier sight. They took their seats beside them and they began to eat at well. Catherine was feeding Mary Catherine while Vincent made sure the other too was eating their food properly. As father looks upon his son and his family at dinner, he can see the glow of the love they share surrounding everyone. Yes, their love was a match made in heaven.
