Midnight Sky Part 1 Part 2 By Shirley Johns It was a clear summer night and Vincent decided to go Above to enjoy the moon and the stars. He had hoped he would see Catherine tonight but she never sent him a message to visit her this evening. He misses her constantly and thinks about her often. Finding it hard to believe that she actually loves him for all that he is. His life was never certain, he had dreams but never imagined his one dream of being loved by a beautiful woman ever coming true until he found Catherine. With her love he has gained confidence in himself and is no longer ashamed of his darkside. When Catherine told him not long ago that side of him has her love as well he had wept. He could not live without her, as she was the other part of his soul. Without her he would be lost to himself. So lost in thought, he did not hear the approaching footsteps but knew he did not have to hide as he suddenly felt her presence behind him. He turned and looked into the beautiful face of his Catherine and opened his arms to embrace her. With no hesitation she gladly stepped into them and he kissed the top of her head as she whispered " I love you". Vincent has yet to tell her he loves her as he has a hard time expressing his feelings but she knows he does. He turned her back to him, encircled her tiny waist from behind and asked her to look up at the sky. When she did it appeared to be magical with the bright moon and seemed to contain a thousand stars. With the night breeze blowing their hair they enjoyed the tranquillity of the night. Vincent asked her why she did not send word for him to visit her tonight? She said she wanted to come to him knowing where he would be. This was a lover's night and they both realized this at the same time. They have not as yet succumbed to their desires and made love. Vincent's strength of his desires for her is so overwhelming he is finding it harder and harder to control them. Catherine's desires for him are just as strong but will not rush him toward this step in their relationship. If it were up to her they would have consummated their love a long time ago. She desperately needs him in that way and knows he needs her as well. Somehow the magic of the night brought forth these desires and Vincent kissed her lips for the first time. Catherine had kissed him once a soft kiss to thank him for being there when her father died. But nothing could have prepared them for the effect this kiss gave them. It left them both weak in the knees and they clung to each other for support. When their kiss ended Vincent looked down into her eyes and in a breathless voice asked if she would let him love her right here right now. With tears glistening in her eyes she said yes. He removed his cloak laying it upon the grass and lifted Catherine in his arms softly laying her down. He slowly removed his clothes as he watched her eyes never leaving his body. When he stood before her in the moonlight he was the most magnificent man she had ever seen with his muscular body covered in soft golden hair. She never stopped looking at him as she undressed. Vincent could not take his eyes off of her beauty. Her slender figure was absolutely gorgeous in the pale moonlight. Vincent laid down beside her , caressing and loving her as she did him. He raised himself above her, took her hands within his, looked in her gray green eyes said I love you Catherine and took possession of her body for the first time. As Vincent made tender love to her he noticed tiny tears slipped down her cheeks and kissed them away telling her he love's her with all his heart and wants to be with her forever. As Vincent loves her Catherine tells him that she has waited so long to hear him say those three words. I love you so much. And I love you. Vincent's voice filled with passion continues to gently love her and asked if she would be with him forever and bear him children. Catherine told him in a breathless voice, as their passions engulfs them, that she will be with him forever and wants very much to have his children. With that statement he took them to heights beyond the moon and the stars under the midnight sky**** Morning Light Vincent was the first to awaken sensing the early rays of dawn approaching finding himself above the tunnels. Thinking last night was a wonderful dream until he felt the slight weight on his arm as he looks down at the sleeping face of his beloved Catherine. They had spent most of the night loving each other until they finally drifted off into a lover's sleep. Vincent still cannot believe he and Catherine actually consummated their love. He had never thought or even dreamed of loving a woman in this way until he met Catherine and had silently hoped that one day they could take this step in their relationship. Vincent so deep in thought he did not notice Catherine had awaked until he felt the warmness of her tiny hand resting on his chest. He looked down into her beautiful gray green eyes and said I love you. Catherine still cannot believe that he finally told her this and that they made love. She looked up at his gorgeous blue eyes and told him what they shared last night gave her feelings she had never known. The sweet and gentle way he made love to her took her breath away and made her love him evenmore. He is her life and wants to be with him forever having a family of their own. He lifted her hand from upon chest softly placing it around his neck drawing her toward him and took her lips within his own. He released her slightly and asked if he could love her again. Her answer was capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. They made love above one last time when Vincent told her they must return Below before the sun comes fully out. He lifted her from off his cloak and they dressed not taking their eyes off one another. When they were dressed, Vincent took her hand within his and they walked Below in silence, as each was lost in his and her own thoughts of last night. When they reached Vincent's chamber he laid his cloak on a chair and gently lifted Catherine in his arms and carried her to his bed. He went to the entrance of his chamber and closed the heavy curtain used to ward off the tunnel chill and returned to Catherine lying upon his bed. He asked her if he could have the pleasure of loving her again Below. She gave him a shy smile and said the pleasure was all hers and proceeded to slowly remove her clothes. Vincent watching this sensuous display he removed his clothes as well. Finally undressed Catherine looked at the magnificent body of the man she loves , opened her arms to him and said love me Vincent. After he was enclosed in her embrace they shared another trip to paradise. Passion spent they held each other letting their bodies return to normal as the aftermath of love spreads throughout their Bond. Unwilling to break the moment but knowing she had to return Above, she asked Vincent to love her one more time before she returned home and he gladly did. After washing up, they walked hand in hand to the tunnel entrance in her building. When they arrived at their destination, Vincent grabbed Catherine against his chest rested his head upon hers and said I love you Catherine with all that I am. She moved back slightly to look up into his face and said I love you more than you know and proceeded to climb the ladder to her apartment. Before she was out of sight, Vincent asked if he could come to her Above tonight. Smiling down at him she said you bet and as she looks forward to his visit tonight, she will remember the love they shared in the early morning light. Afternoon Delight It was seven in the morning when Catherine arrived home. She decided, as it was Friday; she'll ask Joe for the day off to spend more time with Vincent. DA office Joe speaking. Hey Joe this is Cathy any problem with me taking today off? Well Radcliffe you have been working pretty hard so go ahead and take a few more days. See you back on Wednesday. Thanks Joe. Catherine was beside herself with excitement, spending five glorious days in Vincent's arms who could ask for more. She decided to take a shower than make breakfast. For some reason she was extremely hungry today. Maybe all that loving shared with Vincent last night and this morning, remembering with a smile, increased more than one appetite. After hershower she donned a pair of shorts and a halter-top and made breakfast. When she was done eating an extremely large breakfast, strange for her, she cleaned up the kitchen and decided to go see Vincent this afternoon. She knew he would be working until about 3:00 so she will surprise him by waiting for him in his Chamber. She must keep her thoughts under control or their Bond will pick up her surprise. She packed a few articles of clothing suitable for the tunnel for the weekend. She will pack one extremely sexy negligee for her afternoon surprise. Everything was all packed she cleaned her apartment and caught up on her work before it was time to go Below. Around 2:30 she put all her work away and does not plan on seeing it until Wednesday morning. These next few days will be for her and Vincent. She arrived at his chamber about 2:45 lit some candles she had packed. She put romantic music on her portable stereo making sure she kept the volume as a decent level. Next she changed into her negligee and waited for Vincent to arrive. He got there around 3:15 she had been waiting for him on his bed and must have fallen asleep. She felt a whisper of a kiss on her lips and slowly opened her eyes look into the beautiful face of her Vincent. Before he could move she wrapped her arms around his neck kiss him hard and said surprise. I can spend today and the entire weekend Below with you if you want me too? Joe gave me a few days off. Vincent gathered her closer to his chest and said Catherine I am really looking forward to this weekend with her. He release her slightly just realizing her gorgeous body was barely covered by the silk garment she wore and felt his body react. Since they consummated their love last night, Vincent's mind and his body reacts everytime he thinks of her. He wishes he could make love to her forever never letting her out of his bed. The attraction their bodies have to one another could never be replaced or duplicated. They will never tire of loving each other even when they take their last breaths. A love like theirs is so rare maybe even one of kind as he is. He was meant to love Catherine and she was meant to love him. Their destiny was to be together truly together always. He, however, was a little slow in realizing this but Catherine knew all along. He felt a tiny little had rubbing his chest and his thoughts returned to the present looking at Catherine waiting for him to love her. He laid beside her on the bed gently kissing and caressing her body as if she was a precious jewel, which to him she is , as she began to remove his clothes. He is absolutely beautiful and he belongs to her. She laid him on his back, and loved him with all her heart. Desires met, they lay entwined in each others arms. As they drift off into a content but exhausted sleep they both realize with a smile they have never experience a more delightful afternoon. Love's Gift A week has gone by since Catherine returned from her five glorious days Below loving and being with Vincent and she could not be happier. Eventhough the past few days she has not been feeling well, it did not interrupt her happiness. She had a doctor's appointment with Peter today to make sure everything was all right. The only changes she has noticed in herself was from the first night she and Vincent made love (smiling) her appetite has increased and she seems more tired than usual but that was it. When she entered Peter's office he asked her a few questions and she told him what had changed. He knew she had spent five days Below with Vincent and she had that special lover's glow. With that thought in mind he asked her when she had her last menstrual cycle? She told him it was due next week. He had a pretty good idea why she felt as she did and told her he wants to thoroughly exam her. After her examination and a few blood tests, Peter told her not to expect her period for the next eight and a half months since she is two weeks pregnant. The news that she was having Vincent's child was so overwhelming all she could do was cry tears of joy. Peter gave her a hug and shared her happiness. She told him thanks for the wonderful news and planted a kiss on his cheek. Peter blushing told her to be happy. She said she will and headed home. Instead of going there she decided to go Below to tell Vincent the news. Not quite sure of his reaction, she was a little nervous. Vincent feeling various emotions within her body met her at the tunnel entrance and gathered her to him for a kiss. When he released her he asked what was going on inside her he is feeling so much from her. She stepped back looked up into his beautiful blue eyes and told him they were going to have a baby. Vincent lifted her in his arms so quickly saying her loved he with all his heart and he had felt that she was two weeks ago. But Vincent how would that be possible? Catherine remember the night when we first consummated our love I asked you during our beautiful lovemaking if you would be with me forever and have my children? Yes Vincent I do. Well my primal instincts knew you were fertile than and I wanted to love you knowing that you would conceive. You see Catherine there were other times when I knew so I kept away until your time had passed not knowing if I could trust myself not to hurt you, but that night, that magical night I gave all caution to the wind and loved you for the first time. Had I have known how it would be between us, I would never had waited so long. You see Catherine the first time we loved we conceived a child as it was meant to be. The child conceived within the depth of our love will be an extraordinary child. He or she will enter this world with our strength and our courage and will pass that on. When we are gone the Bond, the connection and the love we shared will continue through our child letting every one know there may be obstacles in life that people must overcome but that love can prevail between two people who may be different but destined to be together. The relationship we share and the love passed on through our child will be Catherine and Vincent's Gift of Love to the world? Life's Changes Vincent lifted Catherine off her feet, held her close and carried her to his Chamber. With all the love and joy radiating through them no words were needed on their journey. When they arrived he laid her upon his bed and told her that from now on she can expect to be loved and spoiled by him whenever he can. She said she will love every minute of it but not as much as she loves him. He bent and captured her lips to his and told her it was time for the loving part. Passion spent they lay together and wonder how they are going to break the news to Father. They decided to just go to him and explain everything. Before they left to see Father, Vincent kneeled beside Catherine on the bed, took her beautiful face within his hands, and said Catherine the love we share is a special one. No one else can imagine just how powerful it really is. We both know we can never and will never love another. Our love is too strong and will get even stronger as long as we are together. What I am asking you Catherine, slightly lowering his head closer to hers, is my one and only love will you marry me and live Below as my wife. The tears that swelled within her eyes when she said yes made them both cry. Vincent asked her if she would be happy Below with him and not seeing her friends and leaving her job. She told him before they met, those were all her life but not a happy one. Her heart was empty eventhough she had friends and family it was not enough. Something was missing. When he found her, he showed her all the important things in life and gave her heart the chance it was waiting for. The chance to love someone so deeply that you cannot live without him or her. Had our paths never crossed I would have lived only half a life missing the most important part of it, you. He gathered her close within his embrace and told her that he had a good childhood eventhough he could not do a lot of the things the other children could. But he grew up surrounded by love. Being different from everyone else can be lonely at times and he had his share of loneliness. He had dreams of living a normal life, marriage children but they were only dreams being as he is. But Catherine that all changed the night I found you. When you had to return Above after your assault and you laid your head upon my shoulder before we said goodbye, I had never experience such strong emotions in my life. I gently laid my hand upon your back and could not believe how good you felt within my arms. I knew than that I loved you and would forever love only you even if I could never saw you again. But that didn't happen. When I came to your balcony after your surgery, I could not believe how beautiful you really are inside and out. I thought at that moment I was living an impossible dream. How could a woman with your beauty want someone like me and I was going to say goodbye. But you asked me to stay and I felt there could be a possibility of us being together. Than you witnessed my darkside and all my dreams were shattered until you took these hands within yours and we left together. Having you take my hands after the first time touched me so deeply. Than you told me that that side of me had your love as well and I knew we could have a relationship but it would be hard living in two different worlds. We managed to have our relationship, we took risks despite the obstacles in our way and now as we watch our child grow within you, we will see how life changed for both of us because of our love.
