Another Step Closer to Love Part 2 As they started their journey, Catherine was so full of excitement. Vincent could feel it in her. It made him excited as well. "Vincent these tunnels are amazing "said Catherine as the walked together hand in hand. Every now and than Vincent would take an occasional glance her way and was overcome by her happiness and her beauty. She was really enjoying herself. Seeing her eyes light up in wonderment made him happy knowing his world, could effect her so. Arriving at the painted tunnels, Catherine stopped walking releasing his hand. Feeling one painting of father, "this is beautiful Vincent." "Yes Elizabeth has a way of painting Catherine." They kept walking and Catherine was very impressed. Then she stopped again seeing a picture of Vincent and father. Releasing his arm, she rubbed the painting smiling up at Vincent. "You were just as beautiful as child are you are now." (thinking if we ever have children, I can see how beautiful they will be). Vincent hearing her words was surprised. "Catherine I am sorry to have eavesdropped on your thoughts but you would want us to have children?" "Of course I would Vincent." Why wouldn't I?" "I can just see myself holding your beautiful son or daughter in my arms." "The thought overwhelms me with happiness." "Did you think I didn't want to have children." "No Catherine I knew you did because I know how you are around the tunnel children but I never thought you would want mine." "Why on earth not Vincent?" "Well Catherine look at me." "Vincent if your pictures are anything like how our children could be, I would be the happiest mother in the world.'" "They may not be able to enjoy some things as other children do, but they would be truly loved." Taking her in his arms he said "Catherine I love you so placing a kiss upon her lips. "Vincent I love you too and she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back." "Taking his arm again and partially running through the tunnel, Catherine said, "come on my love I cannot wait to see more." Laughing Vincent said, " slow down Catherine, if you go too fast you might miss some." As they continued on their journey through the tunnels, Vincent's mind kept going back to what Catherine had said "she actually wants my children." When Catherine asked him about more of the pictures, he locked his other thoughts deep in his heart and they finished their tour. Having reached the end, they found Elizabeth mixing paints. "Elizabeth how are you said Vincent?" "Well my dear I am fine and how are you?'' "Just fine." I would like you to meet a friend of mine her name is Catherine." "Well hello I am glad you came to visit." "Vincent visits me a lot but it is always nice to have new company." "Elizabeth your paintings are beautiful". �Thank you dear.� �Now you two lovebirds run along I am sure you have more important things to do than visit with an old lady.� Vincent kissed her cheek. "Elizabeth you are not old". "See you later and they left." As they were walking back Catherine said �Elizabeth seems so nice but lonely.� �Well she has chosen to stay in her painted tunnels said Vincent.� �Sometimes around the holidays or a special occasion she comes out of her tunnels.� �I try to visit her as often as I can.� �Vincent she is very perceptive.� �She was able to see we are in love.� �Yes my Catherine we are in love and he grabbed close for a kiss.� Breaking apart, both breathing a little more rugged, Vincent said, � we had better so see father before we lose control.� Neither moved for a few minutes. Than Catherine looked at Vincent and returned to his arms to continue where they left off. Vincent where are you ?" Mouse calling from a distance. "Father sent me to find you." Hearing Mouse they stopped kissing. Vincent looked at Catherine, her lips wet and swollen and took them once more. "Vincent are you down here?' Mouse was getting closer. Than Vincent released her, "my god Catherine I have never felt this way before." "What you do to me." "If Mouse wasn't on his way here....letting his statement drop. Breathless Catherine said "Vincent I know how you feel as I feel the same way ." "The passion in that kiss was astounding." "Catherine I could lose myself in the sweetness of you" and he kissed her once more. Against his lips Catherine said "Vincent we must stop Mouse will be here soon but she moved closer into his embrace." "Catherine I cannot stop and he began to caress her face, her neck down her arms. Whispering her name he pulled away." "Yes Vincent I know." "I didn't want our kiss to end, I didn't want you to stop touching me but we had too." "Vincent" lightly touching his face "Don't you see what is happening?" "You are losing your fear of loving me more and more each day." "Every moment we spend together sharing things are other couples do, is helping you overcome your fear." "Yes Catherine it is.,"placing his arm around her waist, " let us go find Mouse." "Vincent wait" and she stopped walking. "Yes Catherine?" "I need one more kiss" and she took his lips to her own. Withdrawing she said " Vincent I love you with all of my heart."
