Mario At His Finest by David Olson
I remember the days back when Super Nintendo games were the best thing around before Gamecube and XBox and I remember my favorite was Super Mario World and SMW2: Yoshi's Island. I would play them all the time and I would think about them while I slept and they were a serious part of my life as most video games were. But when I beat it I felt a little sad knowing that I had conquered the game and would have to wait for the next one. I played it a little bit afterward but it just wasn't as exciting as before. Slowly but surely I stopped playing it. But now I have chance to rekindle my old flame and have it back again to conquer once again.
As soon as I heard about it coming out on GBA I nearly screamed. I bought it the day it came out and have played it every day ever since (5-26-02), and I got to tell you. The tweaks are rather awesome. They have added things, tweaked things and took out things but it was all good. I love this game and have ever since. Anyway on with the review.

Gameplay
With the addition of Luigi as a playable character with different attributes it makes some variety compared to the origianl SNES classic. Like in SMB2 Luigi flutters his legs for extra height. The levels have been tweaked which leaves a new world of fun for them while the old-school Tendo players have some new surprises. So Gameplay gets a 10/10.

Graphics
As good if not better than the original graphics I was quite impressed by how brilliantly colorful they were. So kudos on the graphics. 9/10.

Sound/Music
I was rather dissapointed with the music however and I thought it actually sounded lighter and more pathetic than the original game. The sound was good though so I thought it made up for the music. 7/10

Control
Control was rather good but there were times I got a little frustrated with it. But it was rather good nonetheless. So it got 8/10

Overall
I loved this game alot because it was a classic brought back with some edits and because it was portable. My god, Mario anywhere! Awesome! So in light of that I bought it loved it and wait for the next time I will be able to relive the classic.
Overall Score=9/10
