Protection rosters due todaySaskatoon, SK - Protection rosters for the 2003 FFL Draft are due today by midnight. Updated rosters and released players will be posted as soon as possible. The FFL Draft is on Friday, July 25th, approx. 6:30 pm (MDT) at Norman's house. Brennan will take part via phone from Toronto. Roster submission login should now work for everyone. Check your e-mail if you have forgotten your password and user name. Do not worry about what it shows you on screen after you press submit. There is a flaw in geocities system, and it only shows the last player you entered for each position because they have the same submissiion value. The cap is $26,700,000.

Draft, division draws heldSaskatoon, SK - The 2003 Fantasy Football League Draft Lottery was held last Monday night. The Lottery was conducted under the supervision of Commisioner Nathan Schellenberg with the help of the owners of the 49ers, Cripps, Jaguars and Panthers. The Lottery determines the first two picks in rounds 4-30 for the upcoming FFL Draft. The rest of each round ins by order of finish. Results will be posted in the next few days. The Divison Draw was held prior to the Draft Lottery. The Divisions are determined by a random drawing of teams. The first team drawn is placed in divison one, the second in division two, the third in division one etc. until all teams have been picked. Here are the divisions for 2003.
East West Vikings Jaguars Packers 49ers Lions Raiders Panthers Cripps 49ers rookie safety Roy Williams was named MVP of the Seventh Annual East-West Pro Bowl on Monday night. Williams had a game-high 42.5 points in a losing effort for the West. He narrowly edged Panthers safety Sammy Knight, who had a team-high 41.5 points for the victorious East.

Niners claim second title in three yearsSaskatoon, SK - The 49ers claimed there second Fantasy Football League title in three years as they defeated the Panthers 275.5-221.5 in Fantasy Bowl VIII. The Niners were led by quarterback Michael Vick who had 27 points. Niners general manager Jaret Norman was pleased with his team's victory, which took place in the Panthers' park. "We knew we would win all along," said Norman as he clutched the championship trophy. "No way we were going to let the Panthers get their first title against us." The 49ers improved to 2-2 in Fantasy Bowl games, while the Panthers dropped to 0-3. The Panthers were led by defensive end Jason Taylor, who had 29.5 points to claim MVP honours. It's the third time, and second in a row, that the MVP has come from the losing team.
