THE CONSTITUTION |

PURPOSE |
|
|
|
To be a non-profit organization established solely for the purposes of aiding, supporting and assisting or causing to be aided, supported and assisting descendants of Forbes' Hill, Ferry and Harry Cay, Exuma, without consideration of Race, Religion, Colour or Creed. |
|
|
|
To raise funds and other Fund raising events so as to provide shelter, food and financial assistance to necessitious descendants of the Forbes' Hill, Ferry and Harry Cay, Exuma Communities. |
|
|
|
To establish, operate and maintain branches of the Association throughout the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. |
|
|
|
To aid financially or otherwise and further the work of any similiar Mission, School Refuge Home or Organization which needs assistance. |
|
|
|

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY |
|
|
|
THE COUNCIL IS COMPRISED OF SEVEN MEMBERS |
|
|
|
ALL PRINCIPAL OFICERS ARE ELECTED BY THE MEMBERSHIP FOR A MAXIMIUM OF TWO CONSECUTIVE TERMS OR AS SUCH TIME WHEN AN ELECTION IS HELD. |
|
|
|
ANY PERSON WHO IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE ELIGIBLE TO HOLD OFFICE AS A MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL. |
|
|
|
MEETINGS ARE HELD ON THE 2ND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH AT THE YELLOW ELDER PRIMARY SCHOOL, BLUE HILL ROAD. |
