Strategies on beating the Ultima Weapon on Final Fantasy 8 Ive recently just beat this thing and i had to say it was a pretty challenging battle. First I shall list what youl be needing for this method. 1. Squalls sword the Lionheart, if you dont have it.. go look at a strategy guide 2. Cerberus guardian force, hes in the middle of Balamb Garden 3. Lots of good magic - Ultima, flare, meteor, FULL LIFE (Which you can draw from the previous boss Bahamut), life, curaga, haste, reflect, meltdown, and quake should do 4. Speed junction and Autohaste (Speed + 40% helps as well) With that said we get started, first your GFs should all be at quite a high level. 100 is a nice number, and you need to junction Cerberus to Squall and Bahamut as well because you will need his 4x ability. Give Squall all the speed enhancing abilities you can fit because he will need them. You should also build up Cerberus and Squalls compatability, do this by giving Squall dragon fins, you can get them off blue dragons on the island closest to hell. Junction reflect to spirit making sure you have 100 reflects, Ultima to attack, haste to speed, and quake, life, and full life to elemental defense. This will let you absorb the quake spell that the ultima weapon casts therby letting you survive the meteor attack without healing just incase you arent able to. At the beginning of the battle you should summon cerberus as quickly as possible, the ultima weapon will use gravija which takes your life down to 25%, dont worry about healing quite yet your safe if all your characters have quake junctioned to elemental defense. With Squall or whoever pops up first draw Eden from him, because sometimes you get to caught up in battle and forget it. Use the next person to cast a tripple Curaga EXCLUDING SQUALL. This is where your attacking comes into play, no matter what Squall will die very often. When he does die use life not full life unless one of your other two members is dead. Once Squall is in the yellow zone cast shell and protect with your other two memebers on the entire party and keep pressing the O button until Renzokuken pops up, if you have the lion heart start praying that Squall uses the attack, if he doesnt thats ok youl just have a longer fight. Now after quake the ultima weapon will cast meteor, no big deal if your all healed up and after meteor squall should have around 1000 - 100 Hp prime Renzokuken range!. The attack after meteor is the attack you will have to worry about, the ultima weapon will cast the dreaded light pillar which does 9999 damage regardless of any magic defense. Yes someone is going to die, however there is a way to avoid death if you want to, you know the sequence by now and it repeats. Gravija, quake, meteor, light pillar. (Sometimes he doesnt cast gravija at all) but he allways does light pillar, weapons, go figure! Anywho after he casts meteor and before light pillar have all your characters summon a GF with 9999 Hp, this will render you untouched after light pillar and attacking the ultima weapon, however i want to warn you that no magic damages the ultima weapon significantly and it has complete elemental resistence yes *Sigh*, even if you draw and cast ultima on him it only does 100 or so damage, its better just to stock it if you have that much free time on your hands while fighting him. The key in this strategy is to keep everyone except Squall at relatively high health and to keep Squall from dying before he can use renzokuken and the ensuing Lion Heart. The time it takes to beat the weapon varies, depending on if you get Lion Heart or not. i beat him in about 20 minutes (5 Renzokukens and 1 Lion Heart)
Yay! im done, i dont have to write another tip until.... oh yeah..tommorow.. d'oh

Final Fantasy 6: leveling up strategy You might have heard this tip before but if you have then dont read it instead of reading it and sending me complaints about how many times you've seen this tip printed out on webpages. OK well lets get started. The best place to level up in FF6 is by far the forest north of the Veldt. However a word of caution, the enemies here are very very strong and a party with levels below 60 probably wont survive a single battle so keep that in mind before you try this method. There are two types of enemies in this area, Tyranosaurs and Brachosaurs. The magority will be tyranosaurs who have around 12,700 Hp and a weakness to ice magic they tend to cast meteor alot so watch out. Brachosaurs however are much more dangerous having around 46,000 Hp and the tendency to cast Ultima if the battle lasts to long. The best way to level up in this area is to start off with a strong party of 4 characters and as the characters get stronger work your way down from there, using each character individualy this will make that character grow very rapidly. It also helps greatly if you have the experience egg which doubles the amount of experience you receive. To beat these strong creatures with one character you will need to take one of two approaches. The magic approach or the physical attack approach either works very effectively. First the magic approach you need the spell ultima or merton, ultima you can learn from the paladin sheild or the ragnarok esper. Merton you learn from the esper Crusader which you get by defeating all 7 dragons. Equiping the paladin sheild will also greatly better your chances. Now you need a Jem Box and an Economizer as well as the spell quick which you can get from the esper raiden. The economizer you will find eventualy if you beat up enough brachiosaurs and you can gain the gem box atop Fanatics Tower. Ok now your ready to fight. Make sure everything is equiped then head into battle, the first spell you want to cast is ultima or merton which will usualy do 9999 damage, next cast quick right after that since you can cast two spells in a row with the jem box, quick will let you cast 4 spells on your next turn which is.. oh right now! this evil trick works for anything and is a very easy way to destroy all bosses. OK now cast 3 ultima's or mertons then another quick and keep repeating the process. If you have the economizer you wont run out of Mp for a very long time. Muwhahaha! The weapon approach uses allmost no magic and is risky at times because of your low defense. First you will need a gengi glove, an atlas armlet, and any combonation of the following swords: Ragnarok, Illumina, Atma Weapon, Excalibur. (Except for a Ragnarok - Illumina combonation since you cant posess both swords at the same time) I also need to add that this trick only works for the characters that can use these swords. Now all you have to do is simply attack , you will do 19,998 damage each turn, and if your character is very strong you can use the offering instead of the atlas armlet to boost the damage done. Well thats about it.. oh yeah you might want to take advantage of the level up bonuses that espers give you.. just a thought. Oh yeah and another thing a realy easy trick to leveling up when your party is below level 60 is to have everyone equip fire absorbing armor or sheilds and then have all the magic users in your party cast merton.. muwhahaha! Yes if you didnt figure it out by now this will do 9999 damage to all enemies while restoring 9999 Hp to your entire party, who could ask for more?

Final Fantasy 7: How to create an INVINCIBLE character. Ok first off ill tell you why i put INVINCIBLE in all caps. This is because using this method NOTHING yes absolutely nothing will be able to kill your character. There is no game shark codes, no special button sequences, everything you need to make your character INVINCIBLE lies right in the game. The list of things you need: 1. Knights of the round materia, or Bahamut Zero 2. Hp absorb materia 3. Weapon and Armor with 8 Materia slots 4. Mime materia 5. Final Attack materia 6. Phoenix summon materia 7. Ultima materia 8. Mp Absorb materia 9. Contain materia 10. Added Effect materia Ok thats about it.. i think. Now im not going to tell you where to find all this stuff youl have to figure that out on your own or go to some other site. First you want to put Hp absorb materia with Knights of the round, this will let you absorb Hp from your enemy when the summon hits. It usualy absorbs around 5000 - 9999 Hp depending on how much life the enemy has. On your weapon you want to put Added Effect and Contain, this way you can cause freeze, or petrify when you attack, also having 4x Cut helps, but these are not essential they just add a bit of a kick. This next part is key, you must level up the Phoenix summon materia and the Final Attack materia to master, yes this will take awhile but it pays off. Next junction them together in two slots that way when you die you will be revived by Phoenix. Oh yes another note, it would be best if you had Knights of the round to at least level 3. Moving on you might want to have Ultima junctioned with Mp absorb. That way you can absorb more Mp than you use casting Ultima in the first place. The last piece of materia ties it all up. The Mime materia is by far the greatest thing ever, place this in any materia slot and your ready to roll. Another note, you should have a Master Cure materia as well just incase you need to heal yourself for some odd reason. How this all works is, when in battle you first cast Knights of the round. This will do lots of damage and restore some of your Hp. Now on the next turn it is absolutely ESSENTIAL that you MIME Knights of the round. Thus you keep repeating the cycle of doing damage and absorbing Hp. So what happens if you were to accidentaly die? Well im glad you asked because ill tell you. Phoenix would immediately revive you but this only works for as many levels as you have it at. Level 1 once, Level 2 Twice, so on and so on. The same is true for Knights of the round thats why i suggest you bring it up to Level 3. Now once you have been revived cast Knights of the round and mime it yet again. With this method you will be able to die 5 times and still come back to kick more ass. Also the chance of dying is very slim in the first place since whatever your fighting will most likely be dead after one or two Knights of the round summonings. Using this method you can beat any boss in the game with just one character INCLUDING the weapons.

Final Fantasy Tactics: Best Classes/Subclasses Well ive never realy read a guide on this sort of thing so i guess thats why im making one.. or maybe its just because im bored to death. Anyways lets get to the point, ill explain some of the most useful class combonations ive found. Samurai/Monk: A VERY versatile fighter, with the samurai's strength and the monks helpful abilities, such as revive, chakra, earth slash, and wave fist, make this combonation a force to be reckoned with. Giving a samurai a decent range and a wide variety of abilities he can quickly become a healer if needed or revive a dead party member, oh yes dont worry about magic at all with this class, get faith as low as possible. It also helps if you learn the two sword ability. Summoner/Calculator: One of my favorite combonations, this class can be EXTREMELY cheap especialy so if you've learned every spell with this character. You can choose calculator and any other mage class and make a pretty decent character but i chose Summoner because they have the highest magic stat in the game along with much higher speed than what a calculator main class has. Essentialy this character will be able to heal all of your allies or kill all of your enemies most of the time. But there is one catch. You have to use math... Yes yes i know what an evil trick to put math in an RPG, but look at it this way, this may be the only time in your life were math will be useful.. so have fun. Ninja/Knight: A funny combonation i was experimenting with recently. Realy the goal of this character is to break all of the enemies equipment. Break works with two swords so you can attempt to break twice giving you double the chances, plus adding the speed of a ninja also helps greatly. Although you could do this class another way by giving a knight two sword freeing up another class for use, probably a lancer or something with some range since knights dont have any.. The opposite combonation of this results in a more defensive and less offensive oriented fighter. Ill do some more later.. if your lucky.

Final Fantasy Tactics: Invincible Ramza Now theres alot of ways to cheat in this game but alot of them just break the game and make it no fun. This way is quite fun actualy and not hard to do if you can stand to have Ramza as a calculator long enough to learn all the math. You also dont even need to learn any black magic or ying yang magic. Just white magic will do as 99% of the time you will be casting Holy. While ramza isnt a calculator or white mage he should spend time in either ninja or his squire class as both of them increase speed. Also you get a boost in magic attack with squire class so you cant go wrong there. Have Ramza in squire class with calculator secondary skill. You can equip move +3 or teleport and Magic attack up if you want as that helps. Equipment is easy to get. Take Cids Exalibur or get one in the deep dungeon. Or you could duplicate it but ill let you figure that one out yourself. But you must have Exalibur. Flash hat for a helm as it gives you speed and MA. Armor is up to you realy whatever you want to give him calculator skills dont use MP so go with high HP armor. Shield doesnt realy matter as he doesnt need to be anywhere near combat to attack. Genji glove or magic glove for accesory. Now its time for battle, select Ramza to go into battle. You can add Cid in if you want if you have two Exaliburs it wont hurt. Now Ramza should most likely go first since he is auto haste and has high speed. Cast CT3/4/5 Holy whatever hits the most monsters. Rinse and repeat until everything dies. Thanks to Exalibur you absorb holy, it also strengthens holy attack so you will do 999 to most enemies and heal yourself for 999 every turn. You can do this with Cid too or any other character that can use Exalibur and has high MA (Beowulf, Agrias etc) Pretty cheap way to play but its fun feeling so powerful.
