Guilty Gear
So a new Guilty Gear has been made, and they decided that Sol should suck in it horray for me. I can only hope that next year they will return to Sol his asshole powers so he can once again piss people off when they run into volcanic vipers.
Somewhat less of an asshole
Well now that we have that cleared up lets get on with things..
Currently 5 of my friends play this game:

Mark: Bridget/Baiken/Ky
Jake: Potemkin(its the Blandest way)
Ryan: Chipp/Faust/Axl?
Me: Sol/Axl/Testy and maybe Jam to tier whore
Anker: Venom(Slayer is too top tier now)
Ed: Eddie(The king of BS)

Now im sure you were interested in all of this, if you werent thats just too damn bad.

Reasons Guilty Gear should be made into an anime:

10. The characters kick more ass than the govenor of California.
9. There already exists a fairly intricate story to build around.
8. It has already been animated for trailers and intros and looks spectacular.
7. It contains many characters with questionable sexual preferences.
6. I want to see Chipp become president
5. I want to see Sol Badguy destroy your hopes and dreams
4. It would be the best anime ive ever seen
3. It contains much eye candy.. especialy  Johnny's crew
2. Its better than making turkey hunting games...

And the number one reason to make guilty gear into an anime... yeah you guessed it
1. Because Sol Badguy is an asshole
My thoughts on GGXX /\ Core:

At a first glace this new installment of GG looks very complex. They added many new things to the battle system but once you get used to it, well for me anyways, it seems as though its easier to play than #R. Unfortunately it seems that this game goes back to its roots and the characters with the most BS win, just like in XX and in #R. Eddie is now a monstrosity and MUCH easier to play. Im not even sure if Eddie players are even meaning to do half of the combos that happen in matches. It seems like little Eddie is a combo machine now and does combos all by himself.

Sol is low tier now which sucks and i can definately see why this is so. He has to put up with everyones bullshit, its not like it was in the past games where he could just bypass the BS with a flaming sword, nope those days are long gone. He has to sit there and try and block when hes pressured and he will be because he has no zoning tools. They made the game faster but gunflame still travels slow, its barely an obstacale for the majority of the cast as most of them can just jump out of Sol's former pressure strings ending with GF FRCed or not they can escape. I see Sol players using 6hs more than ever now. Why you ask? because in this game you need a move with a giant hitbox if you want to keep any kind of advantage in the match, you need some kind of obstacale in your opponents way. Other characters can accomplish this easily but not Sol. Wild throw is more dangerous now as you can potentialy get higher damage from mid screen combos however these combos are for the most part character specific. Its a good thing Sol's zoning and pressure are so terrible in this game because maybe then his wild throw would actualy be useful. I see Sol players just running up randomly in a desperate attempt to get a WT. Others spam riot stomp in hopes of landing a CH and actualy getting something to combo. It seems as though they made most of the cast easy to combo with but made Sol's hitboxes smaller so you have to be alot more precise now and some attacks that used to hit just dont anymore. Also they took away a gattling while just about every character gained gatlings.

Its a fun game as any Guilty Gear is but I realy liked Sol being mid tier as things stand now I know I have no chance of doing well in any kind of tournament with him. Im not sure who made the tier lists for this game but it is in my opinion very incorrect. Characters like Sol, Johnny and Chipp have little to no chance to compete with the rest of the cast when played at equal skill level. I could probably do more damage with Eddie just mashing buttons than with my 3 years of Sol practice.
