So What Is Trance Anyway?

Character Profiles

Trance is a surge of strong emotion, such as anger, hatred e.t.c and causes the character to emit a luminous glow and perform super-human feats. Every attack sustained by the character fills the Trance Gauge, and when full, the character can unleash their powers.

Trance Facts

Each command a character executes in Trance reduces his or her Trance Bar. The higher the Spirit stat, the longer a character can perform actions in Trance before his or her Trance Gauge is depleated.

The Trance Gauge is immediately depleted to 0 when a character is afflicted with Zombie status.

If the battle ends while the Trance Bar is still filled, the remaining Trance power automatically seeps away.

Dyne - Enables Zidane to execute special new attacks
Dbl Blk - Enables Vivi to cast two spells in a row
Triples Steiner's attack power
Eidolon - The Eidolons summoned by Garnet appear repeatedly
Freya attacks all opponents with her Jump command
Cook - Quina can devour an opponent when it has lost only 50% HP
Dbl Wht - Eiko can cast two spells in a row
Elan - These special attacks are directed on all opponents
