This one-off event is part of your adventure and cannot be repeated. In the role of Zidane, you have 12 minuted to chase monsters all over Lindblum. You'll find various opponents on the streets ; there are no random encounters. Each victory earns you points which determine the eventual winner of the Fesival Of The Hunt. |

As there are only a limited number of monsters, you have to take the Air Cabs and reach the other districts of Lindblum. Bear in mind that the countdown wil continue.
Freya and Vivi also participate, but they act independantly and cannot be influenced by you - with one exception. When less than 4 minutes is on the clock, a boss monster Zaghnol appears in the Business District square. If you attack it, Freya joins in, and you control both Zidane and Freya. Whoever deals the decisive blow that defeats the Zaghnol will recieve 60 points.
Although you cannot influnce Vivi's actions at all, and only control Freya during the Zaghnol battle, you can determine who wins the competition : |

Strategy
Kill Zidane or remain passive, and make sure Freya kills the Zaghnol.
Let the Zaghnol kill both Freya and Zidane
Collect as many points as you can and either kill Freya or have her remain passive. |
