A: Yes! All kittens and puppies come with a one year health guarantee against genetic defects, and a 10-day guarantee against contagious or infectious diseases. All guarantees are null and void if you fail to have your new friend examined by a licensed veterinarian within 24 hours of his arrival to you.
Q: What is included in the price I pay for my new pet?
A: All age appropriate vaccinations will be given, and a record of the date of each vaccination and deworming will be included. Your new pet will have a microchip that will already be registered to you (no paperwork to fill out). Your new pet will have a collar, and a travel kennel as well.
Q: Will my new pet come with registration papers?
A: No. While puppies coming from breeders are purebred and may or may not have registration papers, we do not forward those papers unless you have a pre-approved show contract. Otherwise, we will only send registration papers if the pet has been spayed or neutered here prior to going to his or her new home.
Q: Can I use my new pet for breeding?
A: We have no way to stop you from using your new pet for breeding. However, we will not supply registration papers unless your pet has achieved CHAMPION status, or has been previously altered. All pets coming from shelters will be spayed/neutered before they are placed. We highly recommend having your new pet spayed or neutered as soon as possible for both the health benefits, as well as to avoid adding to the pet overpopulation problem.
Q: Can I come and see the animals?
A: No. We are not a breeder, nor are we a broker. We do not keep animals on hand. If you are interested in getting a new pet, please fill out the questionairre and we will email you with information on available animals meeting your request.
Q: How much do pets cost from Fetch-A-Pet?
A: Prices for kittens start at $50, prices for puppies start at $75. Prices go up from there based on breed, age, gender, etc. Dogs and puppies sold on breeding contracts will cost significantly more.
