Breeding/Show Contract
Registration papers are only provided to those dogs and puppies that will be used for show and breeding.  These select canines are required to meet certain requirements before papers are supplied.  Every dog sold on a Breeding/Show contract must:

* Be shown to Champion status
* Pass OFA certification for hips, knees, and elbows
* Pass BAER screening for hearing problems
* Be tested for common medical/genetic problems for that specific     breed
* Not be used for breeding until they have been Championed and        the new owner receives the registration papers
* Have a DNA profile on record
* Receive annual vaccinations (distemper, rabies, bordetella, and         lyme)
* Be tested for heartworm and kept on heartworm prevention             every year
* Provide proof of a negative brucellosis test

We do have a contract that must be signed at the time of purchase.  All above points must be met before registration papers are transferred to the new owner.  If any points are not met, papers will not be transferred.  The dog must meet all of these points by 36 months (3 years) of age, or contract is null and void and registration papers will be forfeited.
