| After removing the nuts, You must trim the carpet like shown. Don't trim too much here, you only need just enought to let the bracket sit flat on the floor next to the shifter. |

| After trimming the carpet on the lower half of the shifter, you must locate these two holes under the carpet. They are already in the floor of the car and have to have the carpet removed from over them. Remember don't trim any more than you need to. if you trim too much the carpet may have gaps around the console. |

| Locate these screws, 4 total (two on each side). These are all that hold the old console on. remove them and the two washers that go with them. |
