SHIFTER CONSOLE INSTALL
My 91' didn't have this shifter console. So naturally, I had to install it. It's not a performance upgrade, but a style upgrade. The storage area in the console is larger than the original one I had plus it also has a small shelf in it that is removable. It looks cool.
Here are all of the parts your gonna need, (Less the floor mat) I made sure that I took all of the screws and other mounting hardware I could get my hands on. The screws you can get out of cars are much better than ones that you can purchase at your local stores. Plus they actually are stock so the install looks factory.
Here is how my setup looked before I installed the console.
The first thing you have to do after you buy the parts is locate these two nuts. They are underneath the shifter boot. You need to remove them. Use a 10 mm socket or wrench. DO NOT throw these out, you need to reuse them.
