Ferret Corner Sierra Vista, Arizona Updated: June 30, 2008
Welcome to Ferret Corner. We were a home based NO-KILL Ferret Shelter located in the Sierra Vista area, Arizona (60 miles Southeast of Tucson). Ferret Corner Shelter was in operation from May 2001 - January 2004. During that time we have placed more than 200 ferrets in forever homes. Some have had surgeries, some were nursed back to health and some we have had to help cross to the Rainbow Bridge. Part of our Mission Statement is to provide health care, house, protect and find forever homes for all ferrets. We assist other shelters in our area and across the internet. All ferrets are handled and loved daily and have several hours of "out time". We also "re-train" biters and help others co-exist with other ferrets and our cat and dog (when possible). We closed our doors in 2004 after two family deaths and the stress of dealing with everything. We are still here to help others with questions, concerns and placement of their ferrets. We will at times take ferrets in when needed.

We are currently not taking ferrets into the shelter.... HOWEVER.. we will take them in to transport to another shelter in Arizona if owner is unwilling or unable to do so. Please do not just dump your ferret with anyone or on the street. Call us first and we will see what we can do to help. We will take in ferrets on a case by case basis
