| Enter the Abismo Ahumas and you've enbarked on adventure you'll never forget! After a hike through Bonito's forested hills you put on climbing gear and rappel 72 metres down a rope into this vast underground cave containing a subterranean lake. Once down you replace your climbing gear with scuba gear and dive 20 metres below the lake's surface. It was so haunting I felt like I was in the land of Mordor, except submerged! After the dive you have to rappel back up the rope 72 metres to the surface. Not an experience for the feint-hearted! |
