| In a word Brazil is intense. The effort exuded to complete an extensive tour was draining but the rewards were worth it. This latest gallery highlights a 6 week excursion through several different regions within this, the fifth largest country in the world. I also ventured into 2 of the behemoth's neighbours: Paraguay and Guyana. I came home and after 6 months returned to cover my last country in Latin America: Ecuador. For such a small country, Ecuador is a vast repository of nature. The Galapagos Islands were the highlight hands down! While scrolling through these 2 married galleries I hope you'll see why.
