FEMALE BLUES NITE"Feminine Force (Female Blues)" was the first Mother's Day celebration of the Feminine Force Group held on May 13, 2000 at Mayric's. Prose, poetry, classic rock, jazz, and blues, plus special treat for mothers filled the night. Featured bands are Chernobyll, Lastiko, Snowblind, and Sandra Lim. The show was aimed to encourage the guests to participate in expressing their sentiments -- their blues in life. The crowd was also surprised by the organizers when they found lucky numbers under their table and won a bottle of red or white wine. Mothers who came were given balloons and roses. The beneficiary of the "Female Blues" was the St. Rita College and Orphanage in Paranaque -- May 13, 2000 |
