The City of White Rock, named after the blanched boulder situated between West and East Beach, had its humble beginnings spring from being easily accessible by a rail line that runs through it to this day. People from the city bought summer cottages out in this seaside location... and it has expanded continually. Please refer to this website for additional history on White Rock.
