Parent-Teacher Conferences
(students should attend too... attendance is a part of Language Arts Participation grade.  Since this is a conference about the student, he or she can also communicate by listening and sharing insights on he or she feels his or her progress is.  If student cannot attend due to family obligations or emergency, participation grade will not be affected.  If student attends or writes a letter in regards to his or her performance (due at parent conference), the student will receive +5 bonus points.  If student does not attend (for example sleeping at home) and does not write letter, student will lose 5 points participation..
