Tips for Success
(1)  Ask questions!
If you don't understand something... ASK!!!
(2)  Take good notes!
Our memories have limitations... write it down so you can remember and review it later!
(3)  Come prepared!
Look ahead in your schedule to see what classes are next.  Most of your classes require you to have your art box.
(4)  Stay organized!
Label your notebooks and folders.  Use a piece of masking tape as a "label" and write the subject and your name on it.  Put your "label" on the front of your notebooks and folders.
(5)  Don't wait until it's too late!
Know when the due dates are for your assignments.  Get started early so you can ask your teachers questions if you need to know more information!  If you wait until the last day, you might be missing some very important materials!
(6)  Set aside time for your homework!  Break it into chunks.  For example:  Your Language Arts Weekly Homework could be set like this:
Wednesday:  (1) Write each spelling word two times (2) Write your WOW word, definition, and POS (3) Read for 12 minutes
Thursday:  (1)  Write each spelling word two times (2) Write your WOW sentence (3) Read for 12 minutes
Friday:  (1)  Write each spelling word two times (2) Write your WOW etymology (3) Read for 12 minutes
Monday
:  (1)  Write each spelling word two times (2) Draw your WOW picture (3) Read for 12 minutes
Tuesday
:  (1) Write each spelling word two times (2) Study for your quiz (3) Read for 12 minutes
