What's Happening in Grade Four...
1.  Christmas Gift Exchange. A note went home last Thursday explaining the Christmas Gift Exchange.  Please remember that gifts should have some aspect of personal creation.  DATE CHANGE:  The exchange will be on Thursday after lunch along with our poetry recitations from My Dog Does My Homework
2.  "The Jingle Bell Stomp"
This Thursday evening at 6pm!!!! Christmas Program presentation "The Jingle Bell Stomp."  Costumes should be anything "Christmas-y" (red, green, gold, silver, Santa hats, antlers, etc.)... should be comfortable clothing that allows movement (no skirts please!).  Jeans are appropriate for bottoms (be sure you can move freely in them!) If you would like to donate cookies, please do :)  Lena (parent rep) and I will also be bringing two packages of  cookies.

... Christmas Program -and- Reception 
January 20th (Thursday) 6:30-8:00pm Family Math Night and Classroom Meeting  (date change since December 16th is the Christmas Program, the Family Math Night and Classroom Meeting have been re-scheduled for Thursday, January 20th, 2005 at 6:30pm.)
4.  Progress Reports Change:  Students did not receive progress reports for Character Values.  Please sign and return Homeroom reports (keep the white copy). Please check the bottom of the other progress reports to see if a signature and return is needed.
5.  Reading Logs November Reading Logs are past due... they should have at least 14 entries!!!! December Reading Logs should have 18 entries.
6.  Website Update. The website has been updated to include student artwork for the El Morro Art Gallery.
Homework (due Monday, January 3rd):
1. Reading... Read at least 15 minutes 10 times and record on December Reading Log.
2. Math... Worksheets attached
3. Assignments not completed in class (so you don't have to stay for HW club!!)
