1. Save These Dates...
--February 8th (Tuesday) 12:05-12:40pm. Chinese New Year Luncheon. Come by if you have time! (See reverse for volunteer schedule)
--February 12th (Saturday) 12pm. El Morro Writing Contest Readings. (Please complete the permission slip if you will be riding the bus. Also indicate how many riders will be on the bus. Thanks!)
--February 17th (Thursday) 6:30-8pm. Family Reading Night and Classroom Meeting. Bring some yummy food/drinks to share! Remember, this is for the whole family, so don't worry about babysitters!
2. Box Tops for Education Do you have any? Send them in, and let me know if you have experience with this. I know we can get some money by sending them somewhere...
3. Rosary Walk. We walked, we sang, we professed our faith, and were able to sing praises. Signs went home with students after the walk.
4. Thank you!!! for the soap, Kleenex, and paper towels that have been coming in! Thank you to Alisha and Olivia for coming in to speak about their careers!
5. Books that we are using in class: Math textbook (TB), Math workbook (WB), Science textbook, New Mexico textbook (for Social Studies), Language Arts Workbook (Lang Arts Wkbk), Phonics Workbook (Phonics), Spelling Workbook (Spelling), Assignment Book, Lawrence Yep's Dragonwings (read-aloud).
1. Reading... Read at least 15 minutes 4 times and record on the Jan/Feb Reading Log.
2. Math... Worksheets attached
3. Assignments not completed in class (so you don't have to stay for HW club!!)
