IMPORTANT NOTES:
Students with missing assignments are expected to stay for HW club (Every Tuesday afternoon 3-4pm), unless parent/guardian writes a note.
What's Happening in Grade Four...
1.  Save These Dates
...
February 2nd.  Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences. Students should attend at least part of the conference to hear comments and concerns. If further concerns are addressed, the student may be excused.
February 4th (Friday) 2pm. Student Recognition for December and January Student of the Month, and for Second Quarter Exams
February 7th (Monday) 8:30am-3pm.  Chinese New Year Stations... we need parent helpers! (complete attached form)
February 12th (Saturday) 12pm. El Morro Writing Contest Readings. (complete attached form)
2.  Spelling Bee Finalists...
Kristen and Kacey will be representing Grade 4 at the School Spelling Bee.

4.  Family Math Night and Class Meeting...
Thanks for coming to family math night!  Thanks for the yummy snacks.  Next month's meeting will be on February 24th.  However, basketball season will still be going strong, so we will have a Family Reading Night, and postpone our Family Basketball Night to March.
5.  Chinese New Year Preparation...
We have identified which materials we need.  We will have practices over the next two weeks to prepare for our station presentations.

Congratulations to Kacey (1st place), Kollin (2nd place), Arin (3rd place), and Alissa (honorable mention).  Mr. Ghahate had a great idea which we will be following... to have students present their science projects to the rest of the class.. it will be our show -and- tell for this week!
