Over the next two days before I start my job on Monday. I went shopping with Duncan's mom Fiona to help me to find outfits for work. I bought lots of trousers, tops and skirts, shoes which I had spent a fortune on buying them. I bought a picture frame; I was going to put a photo of Dunk and me in it as a little present to Duncan. He loved it so much when I gave it to me after he came home that evening. He was with the band, finalising the preparations for their 'Guilty' Tour which was to be starting in 3 weeks time. We went clubbing that night with the gang from Blue and Westlife!!! Katy, Sarz and me were so drunk when we were leaving the club in the early hours of the morning falling around the place, trying to hold on to our fellas. But they were the same as us though. I woke up with a terribly sore head. I got out of the bed and went to the kitchen, but the sight of food made me sick. I quickly ran to the bathroom, Duncan came in and asked me "Was I okay?" I said "Not really, the sight of food made me sick, and my head is pounding". We were nursing our sore heads for the rest of the day, although we went out for a walk to clear our heads! *rolls eyes*
After coming back from our walk, I put on pizza for the two of us. While we were sitting down eating our pizza, Fiona called by, she stayed for a while catching up on the news! Duncan then told her that I was starting my job tomorrow at Innocent Records. She was delighted to hear it especially when Duncan got me the job! Then Fiona decided to go home, so Duncan drove her home. I went to have a long bath while he was out. I was still in the bath when he came home 20 minutes later! He came into the bathroom with a cheeky grin on his face! I asked him, "What are you smiling about?" "You, Can I join you?" he cheekily said. "Ah, that's what you were smiling about?" shaking my head at him! He quickly took off his clothes and joined me and it went all from there! I stayed up watching Sky news with Duncan for a while and went to bed for an early night sleep before tomorrow! As I was getting into bed, Duncan commented that he could not wait to see the lads' faces when they see me at the desk! I laughed, "Me too, darling. Goodnight!" as I kissed him. He cuddled up against me with his arms wrapped me. I felt so comfortable and safe being with him that I fell asleep straight away!
Chapter 18
*** My First Day at Innocent Records ***
I woke up bright and early, it suddenly dawned on me that I was starting work in two hours time! *shocked face* I turned around to see if Duncan was awake! He was still asleep! I got out of the bed to leave him for a little while. I made breakfast for myself, after that, I got dressed wearing a black trouser suit with a white shirt! I put on my make-up and brushed my hair in the bathroom as I didn't want to wake Duncan up yet! He was already up and dressed when he walked into the bathroom!! I said "Good morning, sweetheart" to him, making him jump as he didn't see me in the bathroom! Lolz! "Bloody hell, you gave me a scare!" I laughed and said, "I'm so sorry, do you forgive me?" fluttering my eyelashes at him! He walked over to me and gave me a hug saying, "I forgive you, babe" with the two of us laughing! We were ready to leave the house, as Duncan was driving me to work!
Half an hour later, I arrived outside the place! Before I got out of the car, Duncan told me to have a nice day and that he see me later on with the boys for their meeting with their management! I gave him a passionate kiss and told him I can't wait to see the boys' faces! I walked into work and met Stacey at the reception desk; Emma wasn't working today as she had the day off. I sorted out post, fan-mail for different artists that is signed to Innocent Records! There was a load of mail for BLUE especially for Duncan and Lee! I checked emails, and sorted out information, tended to people coming in and out of the company. So Stacey and I took a 15-minute break. I was telling Stacey that I couldn't wait to see their faces when they see me! We had a great chat about the boys, Duncan and I, how we met and all that! Lolz! I looked at my watch to see what time was it as Duncan and the rest of the boys were to be here at twelve for their meeting. The time was half eleven, so another half hour and they will be here! I got straight into work, answering calls and etc.
15 minutes later, I could hear the boys coming in shouting especially Lee! I could see Duncan was grinning from head to toe; he made me laugh as they made their way to the desk! I turned around, and said "How may I help you? with a huge grin on my face! Stacey was laughing in the background. The boys stopped in their tracks and looked at me, "Catherine, is that you?" I replied, "Can you see anyone else here with the name Catherine?" laughing at them. Duncan was absolutely in stitches laughing. "What are you doing here?" "I'm working here. I'm surprised Duncan hadn't told ye." The next thing, they all went for me knocking me down on the floor in the process, I was telling the lads to get off me, but Duncan had already joined us in the group hug! Lee couldn't believe that I was actually working there! He was asking me does Katy know and I told him she doesn't, neither does Sarz. The only ones that know are Fiona, and my family. Anyway, they headed off to meet Daniel and the rest in the meeting room! Duncan gave me a quick hug before going upstairs! Stacey went "Awww, that's sweet." I got stuck into work; it was very busy for the rest of the day. Then it was time for lunch, so Stacey and I went to the restaurant for lunch. The boys were still in their meeting with the management. I had a great lunch with Stacey! We talked a lot about work, lads and etc! I got a text message from Duncan saying "Babe, we are finally out of our meeting. Where are you? Thinking about you lots. Reply. Love Dunk xx". I sent a message saying, "I'm at the restaurant with Stacey on our lunch. Miss you loads and loads. See you when I finish work this evening. Love Catherine xx." He texted back as Stacey and I were heading back to work saying, "Damn, I was hoping to take you out for lunch but it's too late. See you laters when I pick you up. Do you want to go to see Katy after work? Dunk x." I texted back once again, "Yea, why not? I haven't seen her since I came over to London. You don't mind, do you?" He texted back "No problems, anything for you babe. Talk soon. Dunk xx." His message made me smile, as I realised I'm lucky to have him. Stacey interrupted my thoughts, "Hello???? What's the smile on your face about?" "Sorry, Stacey. I was just thinking about Duncan." blushing. "Aww, Duncan is lucky to have you. I can see in his eyes, that he likes you very much when the boys were here earlier." I told Stacey to shut up, making me blush at her comments.
Anyway, I got to work, answering the phones, taking messages, tending to people coming into the company and taking them to whomever they are meeting. Half-five came, it was time to finish work. I was wrecked after the day I had, I thoroughly enjoyed working there and getting on well with everyone. Duncan was waiting outside to pick me up. I said goodbye to Stacey and that I see her tomorrow. Emma was back to work tomorrow, so I will be working with her and Stacey. I got into the car and gave Duncan a huge hug, and he gave me a passionate kiss. "Alright, darling?" "Yes babe, I'm great after seeing you." winking at me! We headed off to Katy's house. Duncan and I had a great talk about our day. Eventually, we arrived at Katy's, I caught Lee looking out the window as Duncan and I was getting out of the car. Lee had opened the door for us!! "Rarrrrrrrrr, Cat." hugging me! I laughed, "I take it Lee had already told you everything" taking a quick glance at Lee who was talking to Dunk. We spent hours catching up on the news since Katy and I last met up back in Kerry. I asked Katy, can I use the shower? She said I can use it, so I went off to have a quick shower. I was still in the shower when I heard someone whistling, I said, "Very funny, Dunk. Get out, you are not joining me." He laughed, "How do you know it's Dunk?" I poked my head around the shower curtain only to find it was Lee. "What's the f*** are you doing in here? Get out" with an angry look on my face. I threw a bottle of shampoo at Lee to get him out as there was no way I was getting out of the shower in front of him. "I got you back for walking into me a couple of weeks ago" "but I didn't realise you were in the bathroom that time." "Yea right, like I believe you." I called out Duncan's name to get into the bathroom and get Lee out of the bathroom. Duncan came rushing into the bathroom to see Lee standing there. I cried, "Will you get Lee out of here, please?" "What did he do?" looking at Lee with an angry look. Before I got to say anything, Lee piped up "Nothing, I just came in to use the bathroom, I didn't know she was in here having a shower besides she walked in on me having a shower sometime ago. She told me to get out" "And you still haven't left the room, Lee." By this time, I was in tears; I told Dunk to fetch me a towel to cover myself up.
I went to one of the spare rooms to get changed. I could hear Lee and Dunk arguing, by then Katy knew what happened. She came into the room but I couldn't look at her. "Cat, are you ok?" "Me, no I'm not actually. I'm sorry, just leave me alone and Katy, I'm sorry about what happened. I just lost it with him." "It's not your fault, he shouldn't have upset you." Katy left me alone in the room, then Duncan came in. I said, "Let's get out of here, I can't stay anymore." "Are you sure?" "Yes, let's go." Before we left, I said goodbye to Katy. I could hear the two having a little row as I shut the door behind me. Duncan and I never spoke in the car on the way home. When we got into the house, I just went straight to bed�
