I woke up around quarter past eight to the sound of a mobile ringing, I looked at my mobile and so did Duncan at the same time. It was mine, and it was Katy on the fone. "What are you ringing me at this time of the morning for?" "No reason, I just thought I give ya a buzz to see how are you and Dunk getting on?" "Aw, we are great, having fun. We had a WICKED time yesterday at the beach. Have you heard from Sarah? I haven't been in touch since I left on Friday, I must ring her later on." "Yea, she rang me yesterday, she's missing Mark badly as he's gone to Sweden." "Aww, poor Sarah." "How are you and Lee?" "We are great, thanks for asking. I tell Lee that you and Dunk were asking for him." "Do that for me, hehe." "Cat, I better go. I ring ya later on." "Okies. Wuvs ya Katy from Dunk and me." "Love ya too from Lee and me." After the phone call, I went to sleep but I couldn't. I was thinking about the noise I heard in the background during the phone call, but I didn't ask Katy though. She is probably at the shops getting something. Everyone was going out to mass which was on at quarter past eleven, I was intending to go but Duncan said "No, you can't go 'cause you are getting your surprise later on" "Okay, when am I getting the surprise?" He looked at his watch and said "It should be in about a couple of hours at least" "Ooh, I wonder what it is?" "You find out soon enough babe" grinning from head to toe at me. "Will we go to Killarney around twelve?" he asked me. "Yea why not, any particular reason why?" I asked. "No reason just thought it would be nice to see Killarney." We both got up, dressed for our outing to Killarney.
The rest of my family were already gone to mass, so we left the house for Killarney, he did the driving and I told him where to go along the way. We parked the car in the town car park, we walked around the town. I brought him to some popular shops, so he bought some presents for his mom. Then his mobile was ringing, he spoke to whoever it was, then I heard him mention a place called Quills. I was very confused over that. "Who was it?" "A friend of mine, he heard I was gone to Kerry and wondering what I was up to?" "Oh, right". We were walking down the street where Quills is situated, when I heard someone calling my name, I looked around me and got a hell of a fright when I saw who it was!! "OMFG, Katy what are you doing here?" "Duncan had told Lee to bring me over ere to see ya. I only found out last night with the surprise Lee had for me!" I turned to Duncan "So, that's what the surprise was? You cheeky so and so" giving him a big kiss. We had a good laugh the meeting. The four of us went to a restaurant for dinner, we stayed there for a whole hour talking and eating! I asked Katy "Where are ye staying?" "Oh, we are staying at the Killarney Plaza Hotel." "****, that's one of the posh hotels in town, it's only open just over a year now I think! It's supposed to be lovely there!" "It is, the rooms are wow!" "Oh, I meant to ask were you at the airport when you rang me this morning?" "Yeah, we were at Dublin. Why?" "I heard the noise in the background, I assumed you at the shops or somewhere!" We both laughed. We managed to get ourselves to leave the restaurant and paid for our meals. Duncan turned me around to face me "I got another surprise for you soon" "What, another one? Will you stop spoiling me Dunk." "I want to spoil ya, since you are my girlfriend." "Aww, you are so sweet, you know that." Lee and Katy was heading back to the hotel, so we went with them. Once we walked in, Duncan went over to the reception. "Duncan, what's going on?" "I booked for us to stay ere tonight as I want you all alone." I put my hand over my mouth "You what? OMG! I can't believe it!" hugging him. "Katy, did you know about this?" "Yes, I did, Lee told me last night." Then I thought that we haven't anything with us to stay at the hotel. "Duncan, we haven't got anything with us." "HeHe, I packed some stuff for the two of us while you were sound asleep in the middle of the night." I started laughing, "Really?" "Yes, I certainly did" with a cheeky smile on his face. We got the keys to our room, we walked into the room and I got a fright when there was a bunch of flowers on the bed for me. I started crying, "You didn't have to do all this for me." He picked me up and brought me over to the bed kissing me, and the rest. A few hours later, Katy and Lee were knocking at the door, I went to answer it after having my shower, and Duncan jumped into the shower after me. I let them in, "Sorry, We haven't interrupted anything, have we?" Lee asked winking at me and Katy laughing her head off! "U are so cheeky, aren't ya Lee? No, you haven't interrupted anything." "Anyway, are ye going to the bar downstairs?" "Yeah, we are going down there in half hour. We meet ya there in half hour. Ok?" "See ye there soon". "I'm going to get dressed now, so I see ye two there." Duncan was out of the shower when they left the room drying himself, I got dressed. Duncan put on his best clothes. I texted Katy telling her we are on our way and have our drinks ready for us! We entered the bar; there was a nightclub along with the bar. We spotted them, thanked them for getting the drinks. We were dancing all night long, getting p!ssed off our heads especially Lee who was the worst as well Duncan too. We teared ourselves out of the bar, with Katy and me carrying the boys to our rooms! I swiped the card through the electronic thing on the door. I was practically dragging Duncan to the bed. He was already snoring straight away. I rang Katy "Is Lee snoring?" "Yeah, he is, the silly boy." "Duncan is the same too." "I better get to sleep, bye" "Me too, talk to you in a few hours." I got into the bed besides Duncan and went to sleep�
Chapter 13 - Monday
I was up early this morning as I did not sleep much during the night. I sat in the chair for a while watching Duncan sleeping. He woke up eventually; he groaned "Oh feck, my head." I laughed and said "Oh, you poor thing" cheekily at him. Duncan thought I was still asleep when he heard me. "You cheeky mare!" he came over and grabbed me into the bathroom; he turned on the shower, and drenched me down. "You fecking eejit, what did ya get me wet for?" Suddenly, I pulled him into the shower to make it even between us! We were messing around in the shower and it went further. ;o) A while later, we changed into dry clothes since we drenched each other in the shower and headed downstairs for breakfast.
The minute we walked in the dining room, we heard Lee calling us "Dunk, Cat over here". We certainly got the attention of the people in the room, we laughed. "Good Morning, Lee and Katy" "And to ye too" "How's the head this morning? I asked. "It's not too bad, what about ye? I know Duncan always have a sore head!" "Oh, he's not that bad" winking at him. Duncan was grinning at me, I laughed. "Oh, is that so?" Lee was surprised. "Yes, that's right, Lee" said Duncan. Katy and I were laughing away at Lee. "Oi, you two. Why are ye laughing at me?" Lee asked us. Katy replied "Nothing at all, Lee" "Hmm, I'm not so sure of that". We ate our breakfast and went out for a walk to the National Park which is down the street from the hotel. It was a beautiful day for a walk in the park hand in hand. Duncan and I sat down on the bench taking in the view of the Lakes of Killarney, it was fabulous. Katy and Lee caught up with us, I sat on Duncan's lap and Katy did the same with Lee. "Cat, you live in a fabulous place, I'm glad I'm finally seen Kerry, its lovely" "Aw, thank U Katy. Is it a nicer county than Dublin or Sligo?" Katy laughed "That's a tough question u asked! I think it is, I can't decide". We were laughing away after that. We walked around the park for a little while. "Duncan, will we go to the beach today? Well, it's a lovely day!" "Yeah, we will. Will we ask the two to come?" "Yes, I'm sure they will definitely come!" Katy and Lee were already at the hotel before us, we asked them and they said Yes. We went to our rooms to get changed and get stuff for the beach. "Wohoo, we gonna have a crazy time at the beach." Duncan was laughing at me since I was gone hyper, besides I wasn't the only one who is hyper, Katy was the same.
We left Killarney and headed off to the beach where Duncan and I was a couple of days ago. While in the car, I just thought that we haven't got towels, we went to my house to get them and a camera. I introduced them to my mom and dad. My mom found Lee a bit hyper, but that's the way Lee is � a mad character! *rolls eyes* We arrived at the beach half hour later, and drove way down the beach. We went into the water splashing and drowning each other! I rubbed sun cream on Duncan's and he did the same with me as we sunbathed in the sun, topping up our tans! Katy and Lee were having absolutely fun in the water while the two of us was talking. The next thing, Duncan went to the car to get something and started writing on the notepad. I went over to him, and asked "What are you doing?" "I'm just writing some lyrics I thought while talking to ya." "Ooh, interesting, read it to me." "Nope, I'm not telling ya" "What? U are so sad" "Please, trust me on this." "Fine, whatever u say" nodding at him. "Oi, what is that supposed to mean?" lifting me and dragging me over to the water. "****, what are you doing now?" shouting at him. "I'm messing with ya, get over it". I shot an angry look at him and walked back to where we were lying, at that stage Katy and Lee were coming back. I was reading a book, so I didn't speak to Duncan since then. I think Katy and Lee felt the tense atmosphere between us. Katy came over to my side and asked "What's going on, Cat?" "Don't ask, I don't wanna talk about it" "Ok, if you ever need to talk, I'm there." "Cheers, Kt". I noticed Duncan looking at me while talking to Lee. I couldn't give a damn at all. It was getting a little late, so we packed up our stuff and headed back to the hotel, but we were stopping for a quick drink at the pub. I hardly spoke two words to Duncan, so I had Katy to chat. We stayed there for a half hour as dinner was going to be served at the hotel from half six. We got back at the hotel since Duncan booked us in for 2 nights there. "I'm off for a bath now, so" "Whatever". While I was in the bath, thoughts were running through my head, "Will this relationship work? Will we last long together?" until Duncan walked into the bathroom to have a shower. I took a glance at him, "Alright?" "Yea, I suppose. U?" "Ok, ta" "Listen, Duncan I'm sorry about my attitude at the beach" "Don't worry about it" "I'm really sorry. I was stupid." He came over to me dripping wet, telling me its okay. "Okay, friends again?" "Yes, of course. Are you going out with me!" He joined me in the bath together. We finally dressed for dinner in the hotel restaurant! We were having dinner together on our own, Katy and Lee was doing the same. It was a beautiful dinner with a candle lit on the table, very romantic. The four of us went out after the dinner to get drunk in pub after pub all night long. We got back at the hotel quite late!!
