*** Lee's 21st Party � Three Weeks Later ***
Today was my best friend Lee Ryan's 21st birthday; I can't believe he's actually 6 months older than me. When I first went out with Duncan, Lee annoyed me a lot but we became good friends, he was always there for me. He was not just on my side but Dunk's as well as he's his best friend. Lee hated seeing his two best friends arguing and upset after the terrible break-up, at least Dunk and I are friends but not as close we used to be. Dunk had moved on with his life and he is still going out with Aussie Stacey. Back to Lee, I got a lot of stick from him over the phone call the night of Westlife concert and I was with Kian at the time. That following morning, I woke up with a hangover and suddenly remembered telling Lee to feck off! I had rang him straightaway to apologise, he eventually accepted my apology and he accepted my reason that I was pissed at the time he had rung me.
Anyway Lee was holding his birthday bash at the Ritz Hotel in London. Kian and the rest of Westlife were able to attend the party since they have no concerts for 2 nights. I was wearing my famous black little dress. *rolls eyes* for the party, the birthday celebrations was already under way early in the day! *laughs* Kian and I arrived at the party; Lee was delighted with his presents I gave him. I had got him a massive Me to You 21st bear and a pair of *coughs* fluffy handcuffs! *laughs* Then Lee said he had someone he wants me to meet. I was quite curious of who it might be, though Lee hadn't been seen much with girls since he broke up with Katy. Lee took me with her to meet the person while Kian went to the bar to get the drinks. Then Lee stopped and said to the person, "There's someone I want you to meet". The person turned around and Lee then introduced me to her, "Cat, meet Marita my girlfriend." Marita smiled and said, "Hi! I'm Marita, nice to finally meet you. I heard lots about you." I laughed, "Well, he's my best friend. He's a wicked guy. So Lee, how come you didn't say anything to me about your new girlfriend" "No-one knew about us, we kept it under wraps until tonight, and I wanted to take it slow after meeting her." I hugged Lee and Marita, "I'm happy for you buddy. All the best with you two, and enjoy the rest of the party." "Thank you Cat that means a lot to me and Lee" said Marita. "Not at all, I'm just glad to see Lee looking so happy" smiling. "Cat, thanks for being such a good friend and I love you for it" "And the same goes to you as well, love ya. Marita, there's nothing going on between us. He has been there for me when things got tough a few months ago" "That's okay, Lee told me and I don't want to get in the way with your friendship" "Aww, you wouldn't be and I don't really see a lot of Lee nowadays but only at work when the lads drop by to meet with their manager" rolling my eyes. "Oi, don't be rolling your eyes at us" laughing. "Sorry, Lee. Forgive me?" giving him my lost puppy face! Marita laughed at the pair of us, and said "You two are so funny, no wonder ye are great mates." Lee took Marita into his arms, "Cat always cheers me up when I'm down" "Well Lee, you do the same. So thanks again, I better get back to Kian. I talk to you soon" "Yea, I had a good chat with you Cat. Talk soon" "And take care of him, will ya?" "Course, I will" winking at Lee. "Lee, you got a great girl there. Enjoy the handcuffs!" Lee burst out laughing, "I will" grinning at Marita. I left the two alone kissing whilst walking back to Kian at the bar.
Kian handed me my drink and asked "Who was it you met?" "Marita, Lee's girlfriend" "Oh, how come we haven't heard of Marita until now?" "Lee didn't want anyone knowing about the as he wanted to take it slow and not to mess of it" "Fair play to him." As I took a sip of my drink, I noticed that Kian wasn't himself which is unusual as he always full of energy chatting, etc. "Kian, are you okay?" "Yea, of course I am. Why do you ask me that?" "Oh, it's just you are quiet today. Is there something on your mind?" "Babe, I'm just tired and I assure you that there's nothing on my mind" "Are you sure? I'm here whenever you want to talk about it, just don't shut me out with whatever's on your mind" "I know, aren't you my girlfriend and I love you" "I am, *rolling my eyes* love you too" planting a kiss on his luscious lips. Then Le came along and asked Kian, "Is it okay with you I take my best friend for a dance with me?" I laughed and Kian replied, "Take her away as long you bring her back to me" "Don't worry, I will, Cheers Kian" "See you in a bit, babe" "I hope so, I be over there with the others" "Okay and take my drink with you" "Okay, and behave yourselves" "I always behave myself" winking at Kian. Lee was looking embarrassed, "Right, you ready to dance your ar$e off Lee Ryan?" "I'm ready when you are" "Come on so" leading him to the dancefloor and Marita joined in when she spotted us on the dancefloor. So we both had Lee dancing between us teasing him. He was lapping every second of our attention to him seeing it's his 21st afterall. *mr.green* *laughs* The song ended and Lee thanked me for the dance! *winks* I laughed as I made my way to Kian. Kian scared the life out of me when I seen the angry look on his face. "What was all that about?" "You what?" "You, Lee and that other girl, it was horrible watching you behave like some dirty b!tch with him." I laughed, "That was his girlfriend Marita, and who are you calling a b!tch. What the f*** had got into you today of all days? I know there's something on your mind but you won't even tell what it is!" "For the last time, I told you there's nothing on my mind. "Yea, right. Whatever." I was so furious that I nicked a couple of fags off Nicky and went outside, even though I don't smoke at all but having the row with Kian made me have one! *neutral* I was deep in my thoughts when someone came from behind me and said, "You alright? I've seen what happened." I turned around to see who it was and it was Duncan. "Oh, it's you" "Course, it's me. Who did you think it was?" "I thought it might be himself that come to apologise but it's not" "Wanna talk about it?" "Not really, you already heard what was said anyway. I mean he's not himself today so there's definitely something bugging me, it's just that he won't tell me" "Cat, I'm sure he will tell you whatever it is in his own time" "I doubt he will, and shockily the row we tonight was our first row we had but no matter what I really love him so much" "I don't want to see anything happen between you and Kian's relationship. I love seeing you so happy and content with Kian and he's one lucky fella to have a great girl like you" "Duncan, I'm sorry for hurting you in the past and I'm happy that we both moved on with our lives. Is Stacey with you tonight?" "And I'm sorry to giving you a hard time, I'm glad we are friends again. Yes, my Aussie girl is inside having fun and I better get back to her. You come?" "Nah, I stay here for another few minutes" "Okay, hope things get sorted out soon with ye" "Thanks Dunk" as he headed back to the party.
I stayed outside for another 15 minutes; I was just about to head back when Kian came out. "Cat, can we talk?" "Huh, you didn't want to talk earlier" rolling my eyes walking past him to get inside. Then he grabbed my arm, "Please, I want to talk now" "Fine, start talking" "First, I'm sorry for calling you b!tch, I don't know what came over arguing with you over the dance with Lee. You were right, I had something has been bothering me and after the row, the guys told me to tell you otherwise you will find out from somewhere else. You're not going to like this but it's about Jodi" "Go on, what about her?" Kian let out a big sigh, "She been hassling me for a while now, she want me to get back with her and start again. Before you say anything, I told her over and over again that I'm very much in love with you but she won't accept that." I was shocked, "The goddamn b!tch, how long is a while she been ringing you up?" "It been going on for the last two week, I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier as you were busy with work and I with the band" "It's okay, at least you told me now. We need to sort this stuff with her once and for all. I think you should change your numbers first thing 2moz, don't you think?" "Oh my god, I even thought the same thing as well! I will to get her off my back" "It's okay, you shouldn't have hidden it from me plus I already know you too well by now" "Yea, I realised that when you asked me if I was okay and I just couldn't tell you the truth then" "We know each other a lot more now" "Yea, we do. Thanks for being patient with me" "No need to thank me, so shall we get back to the party?" By then, Kian was his happy self. "Yea, let's get p!$$ed, babe!" I laughed, "Now, I'm glad to see you happy" taking me hand as we walked inside. Just as we sat down, I didn't realise that Stacey and her boyfriend Peter were at the party until I seen them dancing! Then, I was talking to Gillian and Georgina when Kian nudged me. I turned around to face him, "What's up?" He was grinning, "Does the song sound familiar to you two?" I listened and smiled when I heard what song it was. He took my hand as we dirtied danced to the song 'Dirrty' by Christina Aguilera, this song was we had our first dance to as a couple, though we did dance together at Shane's wedding but none of us could not remember the song because we both were so drunk plus we weren't a couple at the time of Shane's wedding. *laughs*
While we were still on the dancefloor to the song, we had a passionate kiss. We were talking and smiling to each other for the rest of the night. A short time later, the light of and music died down, so it was time to present Lee his birthday candle. It was a massive cake with a cutie picture of Lee as a little fella! Lee made a short speech thanking everyone for coming to the party especially his family, the rest of the Blue boys, Marita and last of all he mentioned me. I was surprised to hear my name given a mention especially by Lee. Kian wrapped himself around me, "That's sweet of him; you are a great mate to him" "You're jealous, are you?" "God no, it shows that you care about your friends, no matter what you are always there for them" "Yea, good point you made there" "You know I'm always right" poking his tongue out at me! In return, I slapped his sexy a$$ which I hadn't done in ages! *shocked* I let go of him question before he does it back at me and headed for Lee to give him a massive hug to say thank you for mentioning me. "What's the hug for, babe?" "For being so sweet and being yourself. Thank you and Happy Birthday" "Well, it's true. You are the best girl I known along with my gorgeous girlfriend I really like a lot" "Aww, young love. Good Luck, darling." I left lee as I was bursting for the toilets. Afterwards, I bumped into Aussie Stacey and we chatted for a while until Duncan came long. He asked, "I noticed you and Kian had kissed and made up" "Yea, we did and you were right that he would tell me in his own time and he did in the end" "Hope, it's nothing serious" "Kinda of, but not saying anything for the moment until it's sorted" rolling m eyes. "Good luck" "Thanks think we need it." The next thing, I felt someone slapping my bum, "Caught ya" naughtily. I went red in the face as it happened in front of Dunk and Stacey. They burst out laughing while I screeched at Kian. Dunk stopped laughing and commented that we were a dirty couple. "Us a dirty couple, you must be joking" "Come off it, we always seeing ye slapping each other's asses" "Well yea, I suppose you right" glancing at Kian. "Cat, we are a dirty couple" said Kian winking. "Stop embarrassing me." Dunk laughed, "There's no need to be embarrassed about it, we all been there." Kian agreed with him and said, "At least we are settling down with our girls." We spoke for another few mins until Kian and I went on the dancefloor once again for a while. By then, everyone was drunk and we got tired of dancing eventually. Lee and Marita had left the party earlier leaving the rest of us to keep the party going! Two hours later, everyone was leaving and I think myself and Kian were almost the last of the crowd to leave! We weren't going home to Kian's apartment; instead we had a room booked in the Ritz where the party was held obviously. It was nearly five o'clock in the morning when we got to our bed. "That was one great party" "Yea, it was and I can't wait for yours to come in 6 months time" "Me too" sleepily. We both fell asleep straightaway.
