Katy and Sarah were already up when I came into the kitchen at half eight in the morning! Today was Sunday and I was going out to visit my aunts and uncle, and cousins today! I was getting the train down to where my aunts and uncle lives; I was meeting my one of my aunts there. I turned on my phone with text messages from Alan, my best friend back home!! I texted back to Alan, but didn�t to my best friend though! I had my breakfast, had a discussion with Katy and Sarah about Alan and Ashley, Katy had got his number btw! HeHe! She had got a text from him which started the discussion! I left Katy and Sarah at half nine for the train to see the relations! I saw my aunt waiting for me after getting off the train. We headed off to her house to meet the rest of the gang! It was lovely to see them all, especially my uncle and aunt whom I haven�t seen for nearly 8/9 years now. I sent a text to Katy telling her I got there fine and was having a good time meeting the gang. Then it was time to go, I said Goodbye to everyone.
I caught the train back to Katy. I had texted her that I was on my way back, she texted back saying � �Can�t wait! Got a surprise when ya get there ;o)� I texted back asking her what�s the surprise, she replied �Not telling ya till u get here�.
I got in at half seven, to find Duncan and the lads on the couch chatting to Katy and Sarah! �Cat, you back Wohoo!!� said Katy! �Yea I�m back, so this was the surprise. Did they call by unannounced or whatever way?� �Duncan rang while you were out and asked if we want to go clubbing with the lads tonight?� �And are we going out so?� �Yes, we are going out� �Sorry, Katy I�m not going out tonight with ye as I�m wrecked after the day with the gang.� �Forgive me?� *puts on puppy face* �Are you sure you not coming with us?� asked Katy. �Yes, I�m sure. Have fun for me� �Oh, I think Lee fancies you� �Cat, he does not. Sarah came into the room, demanding what�s going on. So, we told her. Then she said, �Yea he fancies ya and Cat, Duncan is crazy about you� �No fecking way, he doesn�t. I don�t believe yas.� They all protested that it was true and I told them that the conversation is closed. I went to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee for myself and walked into the sitting room to join the lads while the two was getting ready. Lee asked, �Are you supposed to be getting ready?� �No, I�m not going out with ye tonight, sorry� They all said �What, why not?� �I�m wrecked after the day I had with my relations.� I could see the look of Duncan�s face that he was disappointed. I was too tired to go out anyway. Sarah and Katy walked into the room, the boys went �Wow, U two look great!� Sarah was wearing a pink sleeveless top with a black skirt and scandals and a denim jacket! Katy was wearing a silver halter top with a short denim skirt with knee high black boots!
They all left for Clicks. I watched a bit of telly. Suddenly, I was woken by the sound of my mobile was ringing; it showed Alan on the screen, so I answered as he was ringing long enough on it! Alan and I talked for ages, which we didn�t realise what time it was! We were on the phone for nearly hour and an half! We got off the phone eventually!
I went off to bed at around half eleven. Then I heard something rattling so I went to investigate, it was Duncan. �What the f*** are you doing here?� I screamed giving him a fright! �Sorry, Cat I didn�t mean to scare ya, Katy gave me the keys. I was bored at the club as you weren�t there with us. So, I thought I come by and keep you company.� �Oh right, are the others still at the club? �Yea, they are, pissed out of their heads especially Katy and Lee, they got together tonight! �Did they, I knew it was gonna happen, but Kt wouldn�t believe me! I annoy her tomorrow over it! HeHe! What happened to Sarah?� �Oh, she�s met the Westlife boys and got chatting to Mark, they were still talking when I left the club� �Aw, Glad Sarah finally met Mark; she�s crazy about him and so does Kt too!� Then all of a sudden, Duncan blurted out �Cat, I like you, Will you go out with me?� I just sat there shocked at his outburst not saying a word. I just couldn�t get any words out of me! I eventually got over the initial shock! I said, �I don�t know, Duncan.� I ran out of the room in tears thinking �what am I going to do?� I fell asleep, until the girls including Mark and Lee woke me up. I got out of the bed; saw Duncan sprawled across the couch wondering what all the noise was about. �What with you two?� asked Lee. �Nothing Lee, mind your own business.� I stormed back into the room. I fell asleep.
Chapter 6 - Monday
I woke up around eight o�clock, stayed awake for a while until I got out of the bed. I got dressed, and then headed to the kitchen for breakfast. I was eating away when Dunk walked in, �Morning Cat� said Duncan. I nodded at him saying �Morning to you too�. He grabbed some toast and coffee for himself. I went to the sitting room to see what the news headlines on the telly. Mark and Sarah was snogging on the couch, so I just sat myself down on the couch. �Sorry to interrupt but don�t mind me. Hi Mark, I�m Catherine.� �Hi Cat, nice to meet ya, heard a lot about you from Sarah.� �Haha, I hope it good things she said about me�. �Of course, Cat� said Sarah. �I know you did, Sarah� �What�s happened between u and Dunk?� she asked. �Oh, long story, I tell ya later�.
5 minutes later, Dunk came into the room and sat himself beside me. �Cat, I want to talk to u about last night� asked Duncan. �I don�t want to talk about it, just don�t ask me again please�. �Fine� and he stormed out of the room. Mark and Sarah gave out at me over it but I ignored their arguments. I did the wash up in the kitchen and tidied it. Then I was heading back to my room and caught Lee coming out of the bathroom half naked! �Alright, Cat?� Lee called out. �Yea, I�m grand and I want to apologise for giving out at you when ye came in this morning.� �Ah, no worries I shouldn�t have asked. Anyway, have u seen Duncan? �No, I haven�t not since he walked out of the sitting room when I refused to talk to him. �You better get back to Katy� I winked at him. �Yea, she�s great� said Lee. �Yep, talk to you two later�. I walked into my room and I gave a scream when I saw Dunk sitting on the bed. �Sorry, I gave you a fright�. My scream prompted Mark, Sarah, Lee and Katy running into the room to see what I screamed for! �F**k�s sake, will you stop giving me frights!!� I told the two couples standing in the room to leave. �So, Duncan what do you want from me?� I asked him. �You know what I want Cat� �No, I don�t� �I want you� �I don�t think it�s a good idea and I�m sorry.� Suddenly, Duncan�s mobile rang and it was Johnny wondering where he and Lee were? And they are supposed to be working in an hour! Duncan called Lee telling him they have to leave for work. They headed off to work with Lee and Katy snogging on the doorstep. �Bye Cat� said Duncan. I said bye back to him and to Lee.
I got the juicy details out of Katy what happened at the club the night before. And she asked about Duncan. �What about him?� �What happened last night?� �Nothing happened; we just talked for a while until he told me that He liked me and asked �will I go out with him?� I said �I don�t know I need to think� �Oh, you silly bitch what did you say that for?� �It�s true, I was worried that he was going to use me and I didn�t want that to happen to me.� Sarah came in with Mark, saying he have to go. �Ok, it was nice meeting you Mark� �Bye Mark, take care.� Sarah wouldn�t let Mark go, they were hugging and kissing each other until he got into the taxi.
Katy was going to work at ten, so she got ready for work. Sarah had to go home to finish her off coursework as she had the day off from college. I was going out to meet a friend of mine Hayley in town at eleven; she was coming down to London to meet me from Reading. We were friends at college back home in Kerry until her family moved to England last year. We were meeting up in a caf� and shopping afterwards. We talked and shopped for hours until she had to catch her train at six o�clock back to Reading. It was great catching up on the gossip since she left for England. I told her I had met Duncan and the boys with Katy and Sarah. I told her what was going on between Duncan and me. She told me to go for it and see how it goes with Duncan and me. So, we went to the train station, we had a huge hug and said our goodbyes. I told her to come back to Kerry for a holiday during the summer. She promised me that she will. I waved goodbye to her. I headed back to Katy�s place. She was already home before me and Lee was there. I asked Lee for Duncan�s mobile number and he gave it to me. They asked, �Are you giving him a chance?� �I suppose so; we give it a go if he still wants me.� Lee goes �Of course, he still does. You should have seen him at work, he was so moody.� �I ring him tomorrow cos I can�t be bothered ringing him tonight.� Katy screamed at me �Ring him now and that�s an order� �Ok, I ring him.� I went to the bedroom and dialled the number. It was ringing away, he finally answered.

Dunk � �Oh, hi�
Cat � �I haven�t interrupted anything?�
Dunk � �No, I was having a shower�
Cat � �Right, pity I didn�t join you�

End of Phone Conversation
I went off to tell Katy and Lee that Duncan is coming round soon but they had business of their own. I went to the kitchen to make tea for myself. The doorbell rang, but Katy answered it before I did but I knew it was Duncan that arrived. I called out to him, �I�m in the kitchen.� So, Duncan came in. �Right, are you ready to talk?� �Ready where you are� �Right, when you asked me last night, thoughts were running through my mind. I was thinking �What if you were using me?� and all the rest.� �Aww, Cat I wouldn�t use you. I fell for you from the moment I met you in the restaurant, you are a kind, nice, sweet person. I hated myself for laughing at you, and you were genuinely upset� said Duncan. I had tears in my eyes; Duncan gently wiped the tears from my eyes. �I�m sorry Duncan�. �Do you still want me Duncan?� �Yes, I do Cat� �Right, we see how it goes between us.� Duncan cheered, �Thank you, you are wonderful babe�. I laughed at him. I could hear Katy and Lee say �Go on, you two get it on, will ya?� Duncan and I laughed at them so we finally kissed. It was a mind blowing moment for us. We spent the whole night kissing and talking. We decided we take it our relationship slowly, not rush into things. I was happy that I took Hayley�s advice, I texted her telling her what happened. She texted back saying �Yes, I�m so happy for ya and Dunk.� We both fell asleep in each other�s arms on the couch�.
Chapter 7 - Tuesday
I woke up by the sun shining on me into the sitting room very early only to find Duncan lying besides me on the couch asleep. I watched him sleeping for a few minutes until I had an idea how to wake him up. I started to rub his face to see if he twitches, so he did but it didn�t work. So, I decided to pelt him with a cushion. He woke up once I had hit him which was so funny. He started tickling me all over, I was screaming �Stop it, Duncan� but it prompted Lee and Katy hearing my screaming and laughing that they ended up joining us in the tickling fight. Duncan and I were against Katy and Lee in the cushion fight! All of a sudden, I lost my balance and ended up banging my arm off the coffee table, I screamed in pain. Duncan rushed over to me, �Are u ok, babe?� �No, my arm is killing me� I said in tears. It was beginning to swell, so Duncan brought me to the doctor. I arrived at the doctors, he took a look at my arm, telling me to go to Casualty and get an x-ray. So we arrived at casualty, was given an x-ray straight away to see if it was broken or whatever. Luckily, it was not broken but I had pulled a muscle in my arm as the result. I was given painkillers and my arm was put in a slight. I was told to take it easy, and not put a lot of pressure on it. I thanked them for everything. Duncan brought me back to Katy�s place. Katy and Lee handed me a box of chocolates to cheer me up.
I realised I was going home tomorrow, �Duncan, I�m going to start packing my things as I have forgotten I was leaving tomorrow� �OMG, I forgot that too, anyway I don�t think it�s a good idea to go home with your arm� �I suppose so, I can stay another couple of days if Katy don�t mind� I called Katy and asked her is it okay I can stay for another couple of days? �Cat, of course it�s okay, u can stay ere I�m not going to kick you out on the street�. �Are you sure, Kt? �Yes, I�m sure�. I gave her a hug. �I�m going to ring the airline to change the ticket for Friday instead of tomorrow. �I do that for ya, babe� said Duncan. �You don�t mind, do ya?� �Anything for you, my darling.� I gave him a kiss while he rang up the airline. A few minutes later, �All done� �Aww, you are a generous guy. Thanks Dunk.� �Oh, I�m gonna ring my mom and let her know�. I rang her and told her everything and that I will see her on Friday. Sarah rang to see how we were all doing? Kt and I told her what we did today, my little accident this morning and Duncan and I are together now. She told us that Mark was at her place today, they went shopping for a few hours. Then she had to go to finish off her coursework.
Some time later, the doorbell rang and it was Ant, Simon with their girlfriends Lucy and Andrea. They had dropped by to see all of us; they got a fright when they saw my arm in the slight. They went �OMG, what happened?� �Huh, did the two not tell you?� �No, we haven�t spoken to Dunk or Lee since yesterday. So, I told them what happened. Duncan went to the kitchen and I followed him, �It�s obvious they don�t know we got together yet!� I told him I had an idea and told him. The two of us went back to join the others with a cheeky grin on our faces. Ant asked �Why are ye smiling like a Cheshire cats?� �Nothing at all, Ant� said Duncan winking at me. We were chattering away until Duncan slipped his arm around me, I put my hand on his leg lovingly looking in each other eyes. Ant shouted �OMFG, Are ye together?� Duncan and I looked at each other and said �Yes, we are since last night, I came to my senses with him.� Ant turned to Lee, �did you already know about them?� �Yep, I was here when she rang him asking him to come round to talk�. Ant, Lucy, Simon and Andrea hugged us with Duncan protecting my arm. It was getting late, so the gang decided to head home as they got a TV appearance tomorrow evening. Lee and Duncan were staying the night with Katy and me. We all said Goodbye to Ant, Lucy, Simon and Andrea. After a while, we all headed to bed. Duncan was going to sleep on the couch. I kissed Duncan goodnight. Before I went to bed, I went to get the painkillers for my arm and took one. I couldn�t go to sleep for a while, so I got out of the bed and went to Duncan. He was awake, �Could you not sleep?� �No� �Me neither� �Will you sleep with me? And don�t think about it coz I�m not going to� �Ok, come on so�. We lied in each other�s arms. I felt comfortable with him besides me. Eventually we both fell asleep�
