I suddenly woke up with a throbbing pain in my arm early in the morning. Duncan was still asleep. I went to get painkillers for my arm in the kitchen and then I went to the sitting room to watch telly as I wasn't going to able to go to sleep. I was watching Sky News when someone put their hands over my hands, I laughed "Nice one, Duncan!" "It's not Dunk at all, it's Lee" "Whoops, my mistake, what are you doing up?" "Oh, I'm just getting a glass of water, you?" "My arm is bothering me, I took painkillers" "Aww, where's Dunk?" while Lee gave me a hug! "He's asleep in bed" "Oooh, tell me more" he winked. "No, we didn't do anything coz I don't want to rush the relationship" "Okies, if u say so, Cat" he winked. "Leee, I'm telling you the truth, why don't you ask Dunk so and he tell you." "I will soon, I'm off back to Katy". "Talk laters". Somehow, I must have fallen asleep 'cause I felt someone poking me, obviously it was Duncan that was doing it! "How are you feeling today?" "I'm not too bad, thanks. Anyway, what time is it?" "It's nearly quarter past twelve" "What?" I laughed. Katy was already at work since half eight. Lee and Duncan were leaving soon as they had a TV appearance on MTV TRL in a few hours. "Cat, do you wanna come to the studio with us? I want you to." "Erm, are you sure? Ok, I will come. Like you say, anything for you darling." We kissed until Lee came in and said "Get a room, please". Dunk and I laughed at Lee. Anyway, I went off to get ready to go with the boys; we were meeting the others there at the studio.
We arrived at the studio an hour and an half later. We were brought to 'BLUE' dressing room; Ant, Lucy and Simon were there. I met Duncan's manager when he handed us "The Sun" newspaper with a picture of Dunk and me leaving casualty with my arm in the slight and us holding hands. I was shocked to see myself in the paper, "How did they know we were there?" "I suppose some patient seen me and tipped off the paper, they got their photographer there to catch us out." "Oh yeah, silly me I didn't think of that" "Cat, you are not silly, you were in pain with the arm" hugging me. "I don't care about the papers anyway, as long you and I are together. "You are absolutely right, babe, that's what I like about you" kissing me on the forehead. I just thought of Duncan's mom, I asked "Duncan, did you tell your mom about us?" "F***, I forgot about her, I ring her now. Thanks". Duncan rang her and she was happy as long as the two of us are happy together. I thought that was lovely of her, that she loves her son very much. The lads had to go to get make up and styling done before their appearance. Lucy and I talked while they were gone. Suddenly, my mobile was ringing. I answered and it was Alan Smith. He had rung to see how I was as he had seen the picture in the paper and he was asking did I get home alright? I told him I was fine, the arm is not too bad and that I was still in England until Friday. He thought I was at Katy's when I was still in London. I told him I was at the TRL studio. We spoke for another few minutes.
The boys were live in studio; Lucy and I were watching them on the telly in the room. All of a sudden, the presenter put up the picture on the screen and asked Duncan "Who I was, etc?" Duncan replied, "She's my girlfriend, we are together a few days so it's early days." He was asked how I hurt my arm. He explained to him what happened. It was time for the programme to finish. They spent some time with the fans in the studio. The boys finally came into the room; Duncan came over to me "Sorry, Cat. I hope you didn't mind about that" "Babe, the fans were bound to find out sooner or later anyway." We all left the studio, and went out to dinner. Katy was meeting us there at the restaurant when she finishes work. We all sat down for dinner, talked and drank all the time we were there at the restaurant. It was a lovely dinner; Duncan and I were getting on so well with each other. I was happy being round with him, he makes me feel special. We finally left the restaurant at half nine! Katy and Lee went back to her house.
Duncan was taking me round to his mom's house. We arrived there, "Ok, Cat?" "Yea, I'm grand". We walked into the house, Fiona hugged Duncan, and I was standing besides him holding his hand. Then I got a surprise of my life when she hugged me. "Nice to meet you Catherine. How's your arm?" "Pleased to meet you too, Fiona and my arm is sore but not too painful today, thankfully." "That's good, is my son ere taking care of you well?" "Yes, he is" I winked at him. The three of us talked for hours in the huge sitting room. I was getting tired; Duncan asked me "Are you ok?" "Ya, I'm just feeling tired" nearly nodding off to sleep. After a while, I fell asleep on the couch�
Chapter 9 - Thursday
I woke up in some strange room; I panicked because when I realised I didn't know where I was. I got out of the bed and went out to the room to the hallway and saw Duncan coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped round his waist. "Hey babe, sleep alright?" "I slept well but where am I?" He laughs "This is my mom's house" "Oh F***, I forgotten" I ran back into the room. Duncan came in and asked "What's the matter, darling?" "I just don't know" "What, is it us?" "No it's me; I'm not right in the head." "Aww, don't say that" cuddling me with his strong arms. "Thanks, babe" kissing me. Oi, watch my arm." We lied down on the bed kissing, it nearly went further but I stopped it going any further 'cause I didn't want to rush the relationship. "Sorry, it will happen though, I just want to take it easy in our relationship" "Don't worry about it, you just being honest with me" he kissed on my forehead. Duncan went to get dressed and I headed downstairs to the kitchen. Fiona was already up, "Good Morning Fiona" "Hi, sleep well?" "Yes, I did thank you" "Anyway, I better go to work now, so I see you before you go on Friday" giving me a hug. "Ok Fiona, thanks for everything" "Not a problem, tell Duncan I said bye". Ten minutes later, Duncan appeared "Is my mom gone to work?" "Yes, she is and she said Bye. What are you up to today?" "Well, I got work later on and maybe the two of us and the gang go out clubbing tonight before you head home tomorrow? Besides, you never came out with us the other night" "Yeah, why not?" We had breakfast together in front of the telly. While we were eating our breakfast, I had turned on my mobile; I had loads of text messages from Katy, Sarah and my best mate back home in Kerry. Katy and Sarah were wondering where I was. I text them back telling them I was at Duncan's mom house and that I be there later on at Katy's place. My mate was shocked to see me in the paper with Duncan and wondering what was going on with us. I never text my mate back as we weren't in touch a lot as we used to. An hour later, Duncan brought me back to Katy's and he headed off to work with the band. Katy wasn't there as she was at work but Sarah was, so I had company. We talked about Mark, Duncan for ages, while she helped me pack my stuff for tomorrow. A while later, I got a text from Dunk saying, "We definitely going clubbing tonight, Cat. Get Sarah to invite Mark to come with us. Dunk xx." I text back "Wohoo, Can't wait. Cat xx" I screamed "Sarah, you coming out clubbing tonight and bring Mark with u." "Wohoo, we gonna have fun!" She rang up Mark and told him. "Mark is coming, besides they were going clubbing anyway tonight" I went off to wash my hair and a shower, after that I picked out clothes that I was intending to wear tonight! Katy came in from work after five o'clock. "Katy, did Lee tell ya we going clubbing tonight?" "Yea, he rang me, can't wait!" "Neither can I, will u and Sarah help me with the make up? I wanna look gorgeous for Duncan, hehe!" "Ya, of course, we all help each other for tonight. I'm off for a shower." "Damn, what time are they coming round?" "Whoops, I don't know". We all laughed, I texted Duncan asking what time are they coming round. He replied back saying they be round half eight. Mark was meeting us at the club. Katy, Sarah and I had something to eat before we get ready for our night out. It's two hours before they come, we did each other make up and picked out the clothes, Sarah and Katy were going to wear the same clothes they wore the other night. I was going to wear a halter neck cream lace top with a satin short black skirt with silver sandals. Half hour before they arrived, we got changed into the clothes for the night. I emerged into the sitting room with Katy and Sarah saying "Wow, Duncan will get a shock when he see you" "HeHe, that what's I had in mind". The doorbell rang, it was Lee and Duncan, and they came right on time. The others were meeting us there at the club and so is Mark too. "They are here! Ready?" Sarah and I grabbed our jackets and made our way to the door. "Hey Duncan!" His eyes popped out when he saw me "Wow, Cat you are looking great" "Thanks, babe" kissing him on his cheek. We all crammed into the taxi, Katy and Lee were together, Dunk and I too and Sarah besides me. She was looking to seeing Mark at the club. I could feel Duncan's eyes staring into me, I turned to him "What's up?" "Nothing, it's just you look beautiful" I blushed. "Thanks for the compliment".
We arrived at the club called 'Click' and made our way into the club where Sarah spotted Mark with the rest of the Westlife gang. She left us to go over to her man Mark. We saw Ant, Simon with their girlfriends, so the four of us walked over to them. Duncan asked me "Cat, you want a drink?" "Yea, Smirnoff Ice please" "But you on painkillers" "I stayed off the painkillers today." "Ah, good idea" "I come over to the bar with you for the drinks". The two of us walked over hand in hand and we ordered our drinks. We bumped into Bryan and Kerry, "Hi, I take it you are Catherine" "Yes, I am indeed!" "Good luck with you two" "Aw, Thanks Kerry" "Have fun for the rest of the night" "I intend to make the most of it before I head home tomorrow" "tomorrow! Where are you from?" "HeHe, I'm Irish like your husband here, I'm from Kerry!" "Aw, Duncan is gonna miss you so much" "I know, so will I" looking into his beautiful blue eyes. Then I heard my favourite song "World Filled with Love", I had told Duncan I loved the song. He asked "Do you wanna dance?" "Yeah, why not?" We made our way to the dancefloor. I put my hands round his neck and he put his round my waist. I was smiling as I was happy being with him. "What you smiling for?" "Us" "We are great together" "Yes, we are but I'm gonna miss you badly when I go home tomorrow" "Me too, Cat baby" We kissed on the dancefloor. The next thing, we heard Lee and Katy "Aww, don't they make a lovely couple!" "Erm, we better take a break". We went to join the others and I sat on Duncan's lap for the rest of the night until it was time to leave the club. We were all tired and p!$$ed out of our heads but it was funny though at least I had a mad time before I headed home tomorrow. We got into Katy's house, Duncan and I fell on the couch laughing and kissing. We both fell asleep.
