*** The Next Day ***
I bolted right up in the bed and ran to the bathroom. I was throwing up very badly that prompted Kian running into the bathroom. I was crying at the same time while Kian was trying to calm me down but I kept throwing up. "God, you must have downed down a lot of alcohol last night" "I must have otherwise I'm feeling so much worse than I was a few weeks ago." "I see" "Anyway, I want to grab a quick shower so will you leave?" "Yeah, sure" "Don't worry, there will be plenty of water left for you" which made Kian laugh. I had my shower, I realised my clothes was in the bag. I put the towel around me tightly and grabbed my clothes; I knew Kian was watching me getting the clothes and me holding onto the towel! *rolls eyes* "Kian Egan, stop looking at me" "What makes you say I was looking at you, I was watching the telly" "Haha, very funny" making a face at him. He stuck his tongue out back at me. He was certainly keeping my spirit up. Then my mobile beeped, it was a text from Alan Smith asking 'did I have a good time at the wedding'. I hadn't been in touch with him for ages. Anyway, I sent a reply back saying, 'Yea, it was a great day apart from Dunk turning up out of the blue and oh, newsflash - We split up last night, don't ask. It's a long story. Gotta go, Cat x'. Kian went to have his shower while I got dressed. I knocked on the bathroom door and told Kian "I'm heading downstairs for breakfast. I catch you later" "Ok, I will be down soon." I headed off downstairs bumping into Bryan and Kerry. Byran ran to me and gave me a bear hug and Kerry joined in too. I was going to start crying again when Bryan said, "Are you okay? Oh god, please don't cry." "Yea, I'm okay. Thanks for asking." I pulled Kerry back and asked, "Was there any trouble between Dunk and Kian last night? I had told Kian to stay out of his sight. Please tell me if they did" "Well, Dunk tried to pick up a fight but Kian wasn't having any of it."
We both went in and sat down with Bryan, Nicky and Georgina's table for breakfast. Kian arrived a few minutes later along with Mark and Sarz! There was no sign of Katy and Lee; I guess they were with Dunk. *sighs* I had a horrible feeling in my stomach which I went to the bathroom and was sick once again today, Sarz came in after me. "God, you look terrible. I'm worried about ya." "I know I do. There's no need to worry. I be fine" just as Katy come in. "Are you two okay?" "Yea, we are grand." "Oh, okay. Listen Cat, Dunk is not in good form this morning." "Huh, he's not the only one, is he?" Sarz and I went back to the others while Katy went to another table. Kian leaned towards me and whispered, "Were you sick again?" I sighed and said "Yes, I was. I'm feeling a little better now. Thanks" just when Lee and Duncan came in. I turned my head away from him while Lee dragged him to the table where Katy was sitting. As I was eating my breakfast, I could feel Dunk's eyes burning at the back of head which he knew that totally annoys me. I got up from my seat and excused myself from the gang to head back to the room. Dunk tried to follow me but Lee stopped him, I heard him say, "Give her space, will you? She's not taking you back, you just got to face the fact that it's over with ye two." Dunk shouted at Kian, "This is all you fault. You ruined my chance of happiness with Cat." "No, YOU ruined it. Besides, she will never forget that you hit her, accusing her of cheating. Do you have any idea how much you hurt her last night. No, I don't think you do. She will never give you a second chance." Kian had certainly shut Dunk's up after what he said. I quietly headed to Kian's room.
I lay on the bed and cried my head until I heard Kian came in, I quickly wiped my tears but he knew straightaway I was crying. I just lied in his arms sobbing without saying anything. Then I realised I was going back to London in a few hours. "Kian, will you do me a favour?" "Sure. What is it?" "Will u drive me to the village? I want to get a couple of things." "Ok, will we go now?" "Yeah, you don't mind?" "No, anything for a friend" "Aww, thanks." We went out and got into the car, we arrived in the village a few minutes later. "Right, where did you want to go here?" "Er, the chemist" "Oh, okay." I could feel my face going red. I got out of the car and went inside the chemist. I took a good few minutes to get what I wanted and paid for them. I went to Kian again, and headed back to the head. I got a text on my mobile from Katy asking 'Where was I?' and I texted back - 'Sorry, went to the village for some things. Will be back in a couple of minutes, see you then." Back at the hotel, I went to sort my bags before we go to the airport some time later. Unfortunately, Dunk will be going on the same flights at me! Mark rang on Kian's mobile to come outside as Shane and Gillian were leaving for their honeymoon. We all hugged the newly wed couple; we watched them go off in the helicopter waving to them. Katy came over to tell me that we were leaving in half hour. So, I went to get my bags. Mark and Sarz were staying for another day, although they will be back in London on New Year's Eve. Before we left for the hotel, I hugged Sarz and Mark and then Kian. I thanked him for being there for me and that he was a great friend for being understanding. "Thanks Cat. You take care, will you and keep in touch. If you ever need someone to talk to, you can call me anytime" "Thanks Kian. I need I will need someone to talk to with the things are going for me. You take care too."
I got into the taxi and sat beside Nick and Georgina, Dunk was sitting up near the front with Katy and Lee. Byran and Kerry were with us too, we were all going on the same flight to Dublin from Knock. We checked in for our flight and boarded the plane. We said our goodbyes once we arrived in Dublin before checking in for our London flight once again. Then I suddenly thought, I had nowhere to stay tonight, I called Katy over and told her. I couldn't stay at her house as a friend of Katy was coming to see her tonight. Lee overheard our conversation and interrupted "You can stay at my apartment" "Haha, very funny. Your girlfriend won't approve at all" "Actually, I wouldn't mind at all as long you keep your hands off my man" Katy said. "Lee, I will. Are you definitely sure, Katy?" "No, you are our mate." "Thank you two, I really appreciate it." "You can stay as long as you like" "Thanks Lee, I leave once I have things sorted out." Our flight was announced that it was ready to board. I found my seat and discovered Dunk was to be sitting next to me. I guess I have to put up with him for the flight. *sighs* During the flight, Dunk tried to talk to me but I wasn't up for it as I was engrossed in a book I was reading. "Sorry, can't talk. Can you see I'm busy reading the book? So don't bother me, just get used to it." "Well, I don't want to, Cat. I still love you." "Will you shut up please; I don't want to hear no more. Oh, I'm picking my stuff tomorrow." That certainly shut him up until we landed in London. We went our separate ways, me going with Katy and Lee to his flat while Dunk went the other way.
Sometime later, we arrived at Lee's flat which was in a bit of a mess but I shall sort that tomorrow! *rolls eyes* He showed me the spare room where I'll be using. She left half hour later to go home, Lee drove her home. I put on bedclothes on my bed, and then I went to get the things I got this morning. A short time later, my fears were confirmed. Thoughts were running through my heads, I don't just know what to do. I gonna have to make an appointment tomorrow to be sure. I watched telly and started to cry again but I didn't hear Lee come in. He nearly tripped over something running to me. "What's the matter, darling?" "Everything, why is it a mess? Because I don't know" "I don't know either, Cat. I suppose you fell out of love with Dunk." I kept crying while Lee was trying to calm me down until I fell asleep��
Chapter 31
I woke up to a smell of cooking in the kitchen. I discovered I slept on the couch; I got up and went to see what Lee was up to. He was doing a fry-up which turned my stomach at the sight of the food. "Are you okay? You gone pale" "Yea, I'm okay" but I knew I was going to be sick. I excused myself from the kitchen and headed for the bathroom. I spent ages in there when lee came knocking on the door. "Cat, I'm getting worried. Are you sure you are okay?" I opened the door and looked at him "I'm fine, it's just a bug I probably have" "You sure? You should see the doctor today?" "Actually, I was just about to make an appointment and stop worrying about me". The appointment was booked for half eleven. Le went out to get milk and the paper. He was back a few minutes later, I asked him to hand over the paper but he wouldn't. "Why?" "Because the press found out ye broke up" "Oh well, they were going to find out sooner or later" "And they took a picture of us going separate ways at the airport" "What I can do about it? The photographers are lurking around everywhere looking for celebs to take pictures of. That's the way life goes" "Yea, sure I'm always in the paper". I laughed, "That's so true, Lee." "Oi, why are you laughing at me?" "Nothing" still laughing. Lee started laughing too. A few minutes later, the laughter died down and I went to freshen up and get dressed. "Lee, Will you meet me at Dunk's house to pick up my things and say nothing to Dunk about my appointment at the doctor" "Yeah, sure and I won't tell him" "I certainly hope not" giving him a stern look.
Lee dropped me off at the doctor while he went off to Dunk's. I went to the waiting room and waited to be called. Finally, I was seen by the doctor and said what I was here for. The doctor took a test and it was confirmed and that I was almost 7 weeks gone. I left the doctor and walked to Dunk's as it wasn't too far away. I was lost in thought when I got a text from lee asking if I was nearly there at Dunk's. I sighed and texted back saying will be there in a few minutes. I turned outside his house and let myself in since I have a key! *rolls eyes* Dunk was sitting on the couch staring at a picture of us I had got him in a frame as a present just I started my job at the record company. "Hi, I'm here. Well, I get going now". Duncan mumbled "Hi". I went to the kitchen to get bin bags and put all my belongings into them. I didn't bring a lot of things since Duncan asked me to come to London as he had a surprise which was of course getting a job at Innocent Records. It was all a rush thing. Well, I had everything sorted out. "I guess that is all, so I see ya around". Dunk broke down in tears watching me as I leave the house. I told myself NOT to cry as I was getting into the car. "Is that everything?" "Yep, that's all and thanks for not telling him" "No problem, was it a bug you have?" "Yea, it was". We eventually arrived at Lee's flat, we unloaded the bags inside. After we had that done, I fixed up some dinner as lee was going out to Katy's for the night. So, I had the flat to myself for the night. Lee bundled off to have a shower. As he was leaving, I told him to tell Katy "Hi and have fun" "I will darling. Take care" giving me a peck on the cheek.
I spent the rest of the evening going through my things and sorting clothes into the wardrobe. I was due back to work the following Monday coming. I was glad as it would keep things off my mind. I picked up my phone and rang Alan. I hadn't spoken to him in ages, since we were busy. We had a great chat about things, and he was sorry to hear about Dunk and I. I didn't say anything about me being pregnant as I wanted to tell Katy and Sarz as soon as possible and then I have to tell my boss when I get back to work on Monday. We didn't realise we were on the fone for nearly 3 hours, so it was time to go. I went to bed after that��
