The next morning I wake up totally rested. I get out of bed and take a shower. When I'm ready I go downstairs to have breakfast. I'm not gonna wait until Lee's awake, he never waits for me either. I look outside and see that the weather's nice. It's cold, but the sun's shining and I think there's hardly any wind. I decide to go for a walk. Just when I'm searching for a piece of paper to write a message for Lee, I hear him coming downstairs. He's not dressed yet, but he seems wide awake.
"Hey babe!" he calls out happy.
"Hi Lee," I grin at him. "Seems like you slept well. I think your bedtime story worked for yourself too," I laugh.
"Yups! Or it was your company that made me sleep so well," he grins and gives me a kiss on my cheek.
"I was just leaving you a note, I'm going for a walk," I say.
"Can I join you?" he asks after looking out of the window quickly.
"Sure. If you get dressed first," I grin and softly slap his naked belly.
He starts to laugh. "And I need breakfast first too� so if you don't mind waiting for me�"
"Nah, I'll wait," I smile.
"Thanks honey!" he gives me another kiss on my cheek. I have to smile, seeing him so happy.
I make breakfast for him, so I have to wait less long. I turn on the tv. Jee! How much Blue do they show on tv here? They're on again! I wish they would do that in the Netherlands! It's the video of 'Signed sealed delivered'. They look so happy in it! Having loads of fun singing, dancing, partying.
It makes me think� when was the last time I saw Dunk so happy? Lee seems quite happy again, but Dunk doesn't� And when was the last time Dunk went clubbing? Must have been� when we were together! That's a looong time ago!
"Ooohhh! Is that breakfast for me?" Lee yells excited from the kitchen, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah!" I shout back.
"Thanks! Seems like your mother instincts are staring to show," he grins.
"I still let others cook dinner for me in the weekends," I grin back.
"Keep doing that! I'd do the same," he laughs and starts to eat. It's funny to watch him because he's really enjoying the food. He offers me some.
"No thanks, I've had a big breakfast already," I smile.
"Than why are you looking at the food all the time? I thought you were hungry," he gives me a questioning look.
"I was watching you, not the food," I start to laugh. He gives me a really cheeky grin.
"What?" I ask suspicious.
"You don't want the food, you want me," he says cheeky. I try to hold my laughter.
"Sh*t, you caught me," I say with a disappointed face. When I look into his twinkling eyes I burst out laughing. He puts his plate on the table and sits down next to me, really close.
"What are you laughing about?" he asks with a serious look on his face.
"You!"
Exactly at the same time we start tickling eachother. I knew it! I knew from his twinkling eyes he was gonna tickle me! We get into a serious tickling fight. He's really careful that he doesn't squash my belly though! We end up lying on the floor, panting from laughing.
"How did you know I was gonna tickle you?" he asks me curious.
"I can read minds."
"Yeah right," he frowns.
"You don't believe me."
"I believe everything you say."
"Good boy," I grin.
"You can read everybody's mind?" he says serious, but I see the corner of his mouth twitching.
"Only from the people that I love."
"So you love me?" he grins.
"Of course I do."
"Say it."
"Say what?" I grin back.
"You know what!" he pokes me in my side.
"Hey stop it!" I call out and slap his hand. He pokes me again.
"Stop!"
He starts to tickly me again, but I get up and sit down on top of his belly as fast as I can. Now I can easily hold his arms and prevent him from tickling me.
"Oumpfff," he calls out. "How much weight did you gain? 50 pounds? You're squashing me! It's not fair!"
"Oi! You can't ask a lady how much she weighs, and certainly not how much weight she gained!" I call out.
"You� are� not� a� lady!" he slowly says, taking a break after every word.
"Than what am I? A whale? I'm starting to feel like one," I grin.
"You're not! You're more beautiful than ever!" he says convincing. I start to smile.
"Thanks Lee." I bend over and give him a little kiss. He gives me a sweet smile.
"Let's get outside, I need some fresh air," I say and get up. Lee follows me and gives me my coat and shoes.
Outside he puts his arm around my shoulder and I put my arm around his waist. We slowly walk to the park. The cold air clears my mind, the sunshine on my face makes me feel happy. I look at Lee and discover that he's looking at me.
"You've been watching me all the time, haven't you?" I ask amused. He nods smiling.
"What's so interesting about me?" I grin.
"You look so happy," he answers.
"I am happy. Finally," I smile. He gives me a kiss on my lips.
There's a small lake in the park, with ducks and swans. We stop to look at it.
"Are you cold? Your cheeks and nose are all red," Lee asks. I nod. He starts to softly rub my cheeks.
"Don't you dare to rub my nose! It will get even more red."
He starts to grin: "But it looks cute!"
I turn away from him to look at the lake. He stands behind me and wraps his arms tightly around me. With his cheek pressed to mine we watch the swans glide over the water.
"Remind me to take the baby here regularly. It's so beautiful," I softly say.
"I will," he whispers and presses his soft lips on my cheek.
