Chapter 56
The next morning we wake up from the alarm clock. Lee hits it and it gets quiet again.
"Get out of bed, I 'm gonna take a shower," I say and give him a push.
"Why do I have to go out of bed if YOU are gonna take a shower? Or do you want me to join you?" he grins.
"You'd wish!" I grin back and push him further out of bed. After I've taken the shower I see that Lee's still in bed.
"Get your lazy @ss out of there. You're gonna meet Alex, so take a shower and get dressed. Hurry, hurry!" I rush him to the bathroom.
When he comes back I hold my breath. He looks so stunning!
"What are you looking at?" Lee frowns.
"Nothing, nothing. You look fit!" I smile.
"Well, thanks. So do you," he says trying to hide he's blushing. I'm blushing too. He starts to laugh when he sees it. He stands in front of me and puts his arms around me.
"Can't I give you compliments?" he grins, looking deep into my eyes. I blush worse now. He lowers his head, our lips almost touch. I turn my head and he gives me a kiss on my cheek.
"Come on, we need to go," I say and take my shoes and coat. I'm trembling a little. OMG! We almost kissed! But why did I turn my head?
"Hurry! The bus leaves in 5 minutes," Lee says urgently, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oops! You're right," I call out and we run to the busstop. We're just in time.
"Why do I always have to run for the bus or train when I'm with you?" I say panting.
"That's my good influence," Lee grins, also breathing very fast.
"Yeah I guess so," I grin back. After the bus we take the train to the airport. I get more and more excited, but Lee gets quiet.
"What's wrong?" I ask him.
"Nothing."
"You're not gonna be shy, are you?" I ask amazed. "I've never seen that before!"
"Well, I'm gonna meet the persons who are most important in your life. Alex and both your parents!" he shrugs.
"So? Alex already knows that you're crazy, and my parents have heard that from me," I laugh.
"Oh thanks," he says as if he's offended.
"Don't worry. It's not like you're my boyfriend, and they have to approve you or something."
"I know. But I wanna make a good impression anyway."
"On who? Alex? You'll disappoint her if you're all shy, because she's as crazy as you are," I grin.
"Aww really? Wouldn't have thought that from all your stories about her," he bursts out laughing. By the time we arrive at the airport, he's all his hyper self again. I get a call from my parents that they're gonna be late. They're stuck in a traffic jam, so I wait with Lee only.
"OMG! OMG! There she is!" I call out and point. We run to eachother.
"Alex!"
"Iris!"
We scream and hug and jump around and talk at the same time.
"Where are mum and dad?" she asks me finally.
"Stuck in a traffic jam. But I brought someone else," I grin and point over my shoulder.
"OMG! You brought Lee!" she whispers excited.
"Yeah. He wished he didn't have to come with me, than he'd still be in bed now," I grin.
"Oi! That's not true," he calls out.
"Alex, meet Lee. Lee, this is my little sister," I introduce them to eachother.
"Little you say?" he laughs and gives Alex a hug.
"Yeah, make fun of me because I'm so small. I know she's much taller than me, but she's still my little sister," I say pretending to be offended.
"Aww I didn't mean it that way," he smiles sweetly and puts his arms around me. I grin at Alex secretly, she can hardly hold her laughter.
When mum and dad arrive, things get a bit emotional. But hey, I've been crying loads the last couple of weeks, so why shouldn't I cry right now?
We go to mum and dad's house, and stay there the rest of the day. They all seem to like Lee a lot, although all the attention is focused on Alex of course.
In the evening Lee, Alex and I go back to my house, Alex will stay with me for a couple of days. Lee goes back to London with an early flight on Monday.
Alex meets up with all kinds of old friends, while I go to college. On Wednesday my supervisor tells me we got an extra day off on Friday. I'm really happy to hear that of course. Than Alex and I can go to London Friday morning, and meet the guys at the studios. If they're okay with it�
I call Lee immediately to ask him. He's thrilled when he hears about my extra day off, especially when I tell him I wanna come to the studios with Alex. After that I call Dunk, just to be sure�
"Hello?"
"Hi, it's Iris."
"Oh, hi! How are you?"
"I'm fine, fine. What about you?"
"I'm okay. I heard Alex is back."
"Yes, she is," I say really happy.
"That's really great. I'm happy for you."
"Well, thank you. Hey, I've got an extra day off on Friday, and I was wondering if I could come to the studios with Alex? Lee said it's okay, but I wanna know if it's okay with you."
"Yeah, sure. I'd like to see you again, so please come."
"Thanks. I'd like to see you too. See you on Friday than."
"Okay, see you."
"Bye."
Wooww I'm relieved that he's okay with it. He even wants to see me! And I'm gonna see Lee a day longer this weekend!
"Hi!" Alex wakes me up from my daydream.
"Hey, you're back early!" I smile.
"You look like a cat that ate the bird. What's up?"
"I'm not gonna tell you," I grin.
"Tell me," she says threatening and comes closer to me.
"No, it's my secret."
She starts to tickle me. "Tell me!"
"It's about Friday!" I laugh.
"What about it?" she keeps on tickling me.
"I've got an extra day off," I laugh my @ss off.
"Great! Than we have an extra day together," she says happy.
"No!"
"What no?"
"Not together."
"Why not? Tell me."
"Than stop tickling me."
"No! I'll stop tickling you when you've told me everything," she grins evilly. I've fallen on the couch, doubled up with laughter.
"But� I� can't� talk� now," I pant.
"Yes you can," she still goes on tickling. "Tell me!"
"Going� to� London."
"You and me?"
"Yes!"
"And?"
"Meet the guys!"
"Really? That's sooo great!" she calls out and dances around the room.
"We're going to the studios. Lee and Dunk both said it's okay. And you can stay in London with me all weekend."
"It's so great! Oh I love you my sis!" she gives me a really tight hug.
"I love you too lil sis," I grin.
Thursday goes by very slow. I can't wait until I see Lee again. But when Friday finally comes, I still haven't figured out how and when I'm gonna tell Lee I'm madly in love with him. The thing that bothers me, is Dunk's reaction. I'm afraid it'll break his heart�
Maybe I can talk to Dunk at the studios� Gosh! I really don't know! And my crazy hormones aren't helping either�
