Chapter 57
When we arrive at the studios we go to the receptionist.
"Hello. We're here for Lee Ryan," I say.
"Oh, yes. Mr. Ryan told me about it."
"Oh really? Usually he forgets to report it when someone'll come to visit him," I grin.
"Yeah, but you're not just someone," Alex whispers at me.
"Thank you," I say to the receptionist and quickly turn around before I start to blush.
We arrive with the guys. The first one I see, is Lee.
"Lee!"
He turns around and the biggest smile ever spreads across his face. "Hey gorgeous," he smiles and gives me a tight hug.
"I missed you," I whisper in his ear.
"I missed you too," he whispers back and gives me a soft kiss on my cheek. I hear Alex coughing behind me.
"Oh sorry," I grin apologizing at her. "Guys, this is Alex, my sister," I say and push Alex forward. She gives them all a hug, I do the same.
"Hi Dunk," I smile.
"Nice to see you," he hugs me.
"Same here."
Lee and Ant show us around the studios. Well, Lee practically drags us around.
"Alex, you gotta see this," Ant says and they go to another room.
Lee and I are left alone. I go to the window and look outside. Lee stands behind me and wraps his arms around me.
"I love the view from up here," I softly say.
"Hmmm," he nods and puts his cheek against my cheek. My knees go all weak and I get loads of butterflies in my belly, exactly where his hands are.
"Lee, they need you here. Back to work, mate," we hear Dunk behind us. Lee softly squeezes my hand and lets go off me.
"Okay," I hear him saying to Dunk and than leaving the room. I slowly turn around to face Dunk. He's smiling at me.
"I knew you'd love the view from up here."
I smile back at him and nod.
"Can I talk to you for a minute?" he asks.
"Sure," I nod and he closes the door behind him. We both sit down.
"I don't know how to say it different, so I'm just gonna say it," he starts. I nod encouraging.
"Maybe you already know it, but Lee's in love with you."
"I know," I nod and feel my hands getting all sweaty.
"And today I saw that you're in love with him."
My heart's beating so loud, I wonder if he can hear it.
"You know I still love you, and I hoped you'd fall in love with me again. But now you've fallen in love with someone else, I'm glad it's Lee. He's my best friend, and he's the only one who's good enough for you�" I see tears in his eyes.
"OMG! Dunk! I know it must hurt you deeply to say this." I go to him and give him a big hug.
"So, why aren't you and Lee together yet? You're both truly in love."
"I� I was afraid of your reaction," I confess.
"So what's holding you back now? You've got to tell him you love him, because he's never gonna take the first step."
I can't help it, I have to smile. "Don't worry."
Dunk smiles back at me. "All I want is to see you happy."
"Dunk, I don't know how it's possible, but you really are an Angel." I give him a kiss on his cheek.
"So are you," he says hardly audible and kisses me back.
"Dunk where are you?" we hear Ant calling at the corridor. We leave the room and bump into Lee and Ant just outside the door. Lee looks surprised at us together.
"Where's Alex?" I ask happily.
"Over there," Ant points at an open door. Lee's staring at me. I give him a quick smile and go to Alex.
"Hey Alex, you're never gonna believe what Dunk just�" I stop dead and start to blush heavily.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were here too," I say to Sy.
"Okay, I know when I'm too much," he smiles and leaves the room, closing the door behind him. I tell Alex everything. She's really happy for me.
"And you're never gonna believe what Ant asked me," she grins.
"What?" I ask curious.
"He asked if you're in love with Lee. I just couldn't deny it."
I start to laugh. "I know you're a bad liar."
"And than he offered me to stay at his place this night, in his guestroom. I think I'm gonna accept his offer, as you and Lee need some privacy tonight," she grins badly.
"Well, I don't want to send you away or something� but thanks a lot sis," I grin.
"I'm gonna tell Ant," she says and I get up too, to find Lee. The guys are all together. I beckon Lee to come with me and Alex calls Ant.
"What's wrong with you all today? Everybody's having private conversations all the time!" Sy calls out.
"Oops! He's jealous," I laugh.
"Aww! Come with us Sy," Alex grins.
"Sorry Dunk, leaving you alone," I smile.
"It's okay, as long as we're all gonna have dinner together," he smiles.
"Of course we are!" Lee calls out. I leave the room with Lee.
"Alex is not gonna stay at your house this night," I say. He looks deep into my eyes, making my heart beat faster.
"And you?"
"I'm gonna stay with you. If it's okay with you of course," I smile.
"Good. Yes of course you can stay with me, you don't even have to ask," he smiles back. "So where's Alex going?"
"She'll stay with Ant."
"Why?"
"Hmmm� they seem to get along quite well."
"That's not the reason. What were you just talking about with Alex?" he asks curious.
"Can't tell you."
"It's a secret?" he asks jealous.
"Yes," I grin.
"Since when do you keep secrets from me?"
"Erm� since last Sunday."
"Fine. If you don't wanna tell me�" he says a bit angry and walks away.
"Lee!" I call out and run after him. I take his hand and make him turn around at me.
"I promise I'm gonna tell you soon. I just can't do it right now. I hate keeping secrets for you."
"It's okay," he says softly.
"Can we be friends again?" I pout.
He starts to laugh. "You're cute when you look like that."
"Don't I always look cute?" I pout and put my arms around his neck.
"You �lmost always look cute," he grins.
"Thanks," I smirk.
"You got to go back to work," I slap his @ss.
"Oi!" he calls out and tries to grab me. I run back to the others.
"Come on Alex, we got to get out of here," I laugh and escape from Lee by hiding behind Sy. "We're keeping them from working. Let's go shopping."
"Good idea," Alex nods enthusiastically.
"We'll be back before dinner," I say. I quickly leave the room, sticking out my tongue at Lee. He waves at me grinning.
We go shopping together the rest of the afternoon. We're trying on the silliest clothes, having loads of fun. We also call Nicky together, keeping her up to date about my love-life.
We have dinner with the guys, and Tia joins us too.
"We've got to go now, we have a birthday party," Sy says when we've finished the dessert. Tia nods and they stand up.
"We got to leave too," Ant says to Alex. "Emily's with me the weekend," he smiles broadly at us.
"Well, than I'm going home too," Dunk smiles.
"Everybody's leaving us," Lee pouts.
"I think you've been too annoying today. It's your own fault," I laugh. Lee pulls a funny face and everybody bursts out laughing. We say goodbye to everybody and I go home with Lee�
