Finally, it's Friday!!!
This week didn't seem to come to an end! I'm missing Dunk, because I haven't seen him last weekend. So we haven't been together for almost 2 weeks, way too long!
I quietly open the front door and go inside. I don't see Dunk in the kitchen or living room, so I go upstairs. I see he's in the bedroom, so I quietly sneak up behind him.
"What the f*ck!? Iris!" he calls out scared. "Why are you sneaking up on me?" he asks a bit angry.
"Wow, calm down. Every week I try to scare you by sneaking up on you. And now I finally get to scare you, it isn't even funny!" I say.
"You really scared me," he says.
"I'm sorry, I won't do it again," I apologize and put my arms around him. I give him a kiss but he hardly kisses me back.
"Something wrong?" I ask and look deep into his eyes.
"No, nothing," he answers, looking somewhere else. I try to kiss him again but he turns away from me to put away his laundry.
"Had a bad day?" I ask.
"No."
"Are you in a bad mood?"
He goes on cleaning up.
"Dunk, can you please at least look at me? I'm just trying to be nice." He stops and looks at me.
"You're always so f*cking nice! And I'm not!" he calls out.
"Duncan, tell me what's wrong!" I command him.
He looks at the floor. I see he's wrestling hard to make up his mind. He finally looks up at me. The look in his eyes scares me to death! I've never seen his blue eyes turn so dark! I've never seen so much pain in his eyes! It gives me chills running down my spine.
"Tell me," I say hardly audible.
It seems he wants to keep his mouth shut, but than he suddenly blurts out: "Last weekend after the party I slept with a girl!"
I feel all the color drain out of my face. "What? Who? I thought� I thought you left the party with Kimmie!" I stutter.
"Exactly, with Kimmie," he says sarcastically.
"OMG! Kimmie! Why? How could you?" I shout out hysterically.
"How could I? I really don't know. Why? I missed you so badly!" he shouts at me. He tries to take my hands, but I slap his hands away from me.
"That is the worst f*cking excuse I've ever heard!" I yell at him.
"I regret it from the bottom of my heart! It was the biggest mistake I've made in my whole life. I'm so so so sorry," he calls out crying. "But I just had to tell you, I can't keep any secrets from you. But I still love you. I love you more than ever. I swear it will never happen again!" he cries out.
"No, it will never happen again, because I'm leaving you now," I shout crying.
I turn around and run down the stairs and out of the house.
"Iris! Iris! Come back!" I hear Dunk yelling behind me. I keep on running.
The first two who flash through my mind where I can go to are Lee and Tia. Tia's still got the flu, so I go to Lee. I go to the nearest bus stop and wait there, totally in shock.
I suddenly find myself back in front of Lee's house, ringing the doorbell constantly. I don't remember how I got here. Lee opens the door.
"OMG! Iris! What happened to you?" he calls out with a shocked face. I fall in his arms, crying my heart out. He embraces me and takes me inside.
We sit down and I cry a long time against his chest. His shirt gets all wet with my tears. All the time he keeps on hugging me and kissing my hair. I'm totally heartbroken. After a long time I'm out of tears and completely exhausted.
"Iris, can you tell me what happened?" Lee asks softly. I look up at him, my face covered with tears.
"He� he� ch-ch-cheated on me," I sob.
"That f*cking bastard! With who? I'm gonna kill that b*tch," he says shocked. I see in his eyes that he really didn't know about it.
"K-k-kimmie," I snivel. I see horror in his eyes.
"Oh my poor sweetheart," he whispers and wraps his arms around me. He takes a tissue and wipes all the tears from my face. I loudly blow my nose. Lee gives me a kiss on my forehead, I rest my head on his shoulder.
"Lee, what am I gonna do now?" I ask quietly.
"You're not gonna do anything. You're gonna stay here. And I'm gonna stay here with you as long as you need me," he whispers in my ear. I give a deep sigh. He takes my trembling hand and gives a kiss on it.
"I'll get you something to drink."
"Don't leave me alone," I beg.
"Than come with me to the kitchen," he says softly and pulls me up. He puts his arm around me and takes me to the kitchen. I'm so weak I can hardly walk. He helps me to sit down and gets me a drink.
My cell phone starts to ring. I see it's Dunk so I reject the call. A couple of seconds later Lee's cell phone starts to ring.
"Yes?" he says in a sharp tone.
"Yes."
"No."
"No."
He turns off his phone. I look up at him, new tears rolling down my face.
"I told him you're here, but he can't talk to you and he can't come here," he says and kneels down in front of me. He wipes away my tears once again.
"I want you to know that I'll always be there for you, and I'll do anything for you. Just ask," he says with tears in his eyes.
I fall in his arms. He lifts me up and carries me to the bedroom. He takes off my shoes and clothes and puts me in bed.
I the middle of the night I wake up crying uncontrollable. A little light is turned on and I see Lee's sitting next to me. He takes me in his arms.
"Sssh, it will all be okay," he keeps on whispering. He holds me in his arms until I fall asleep again.
