Jon Lee's first credited appearance on a recording shortly before Feeder were formed with their original bassist under the name of "Real". Here, he appears on the tracks "Baby Head" and "What Goes Around". Jon drums effortlessly on each of them, just like he did with Feeder :-).
I managed to get a copy of a Jon Lee tribute evening programme, and it says that he joined the band halfway though their existence, and this was the only single he featured on. The A and R person for the band for some reason didn't think Jon would make it as a drummer, and so wrongly gave him the push!.
As we all know, Jon soon proved them wrong! :-).
Jon also appears on the Tigertailz #75 single "Love Bomb Baby" but does not get a credit :-(. |
