| All of the body work was performed by Garrett Auto Unlimited in Littlestown, PA (thanks, Steve!). Because the existing quarterpanels were rusted through, I cut both rears - which were pristine - off of the totalled '86, and had them welded on. New factory front fenders went on, as did new windshield trim and door hinges. The top from the '86 is on the truck at the time these pictures were taken (with NWOR roof rack), and Steve took the sliding windows and trim off of it and installed it on the 1989's top, which is an extremely difficult and tedious process! If I had it to do all over again, it would have been quicker and cheaper to take the headliner out of the grey '89 interior and install it in and paint the '86 tan interior. Go figure! | ||||||||||||||
