| The paint work was also performed by Garrett's Auto Unlimited. The hood, fenders, and top were painted off the truck, as shown. The colors are Ford Zinc Yellow for the main body parts and Toyota Gloss Black on the graphic, top, mirrors, rock shields, license plate light cover, rear quarterpanel lower trim, and front and rear bumpers. A small mix of PPG DX-78 Prizmatique was added to the clearcoat of the entire truck to add some sparkle. | |||||||||||||||||||

| While we were at it, I decided to add a few custom touches to the final product. The "Starsky & Hutch" graphic was made to wrap up and over the rear quarterpanel when the top was off. The rear license plate light housing "TOYOTA" lettering was hand-painted the matching Zinc Yellow, as was the interior roll bar. | |||||||||||||||||||
